Brian Peckford (Born:1942) is a Canadian politician who served 10 years as the third premier of Newfoundland from 1979-1989 with majority government and 70 percent popular vote in the general election for his district in 1975.He was also a integral member in crafting The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1982 and is now the last living signature to the charter.
