Kevin chats with Ron about his journey to build his life back up after a major break-up. There are so many factors occurring at the same time that can cause you to spiral downward into a deep, dark hole. You lose your friends, your family, your hobbies, and most importantly your sense of self. As Ron describes, it is only by actively seeking help in combination with the motivation and desire to turn your life around do you find redemption. His story is certainly one of triumph and I gladly celebrate his successes. I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and look forward to seeing Ron's future successes. Enjoy! (beats by @owlnestmusic)

Kevin chats with Dorcas Cruz about the current state of nursing and how nurses are struggling to provide quality healthcare in the midst of staffing shortages and lack of proper support from the institutions they work for. The current state of affairs can be attributed to the devastating effects of COVID-19 on the mental and physical health of healthcare's employees, the retirement of the baby boomer population, and the unaddressed feelings of frustration with management. In response to these issues, nurses have turned to leaving their employment to take on travel assignments or pursue advanced education opportunities as a means to take back control in their lives. This has left full-time employees in a difficult predicament to provide appropriate healthcare in unsafe situations. The question is: What can we do to achieve appropriate staff retention and provide the proper quality of healthcare our communities deserve? If you or anyone you know is struggling with these issues, please reach out to me via instagram (K_maribao31) or email ([email protected]). I'd love to talk more about these issues and hear other sides of the situation. Thanks and much love! (beats by @owlnestmusic)

Kevin chats with Kendall about the importance of presence and its power to inspire kindness and connection with not only family and friends but also with strangers. We get so wrapped up in our day to day lives that sometimes it can be difficult to focus on the present moment. When we are able to unplug from our daily stressors, we are able to find beauty in the simplest of things, such as walking. With thoughts like these, we should try to remember to be kind and understand that life can be just as difficult as it is beautiful. In this endeavor, we may find vulnerability to be a difficult state to maintain but a very rewarding one to experience.(Beats by @owlnestmusic)

Kevin chats with James Martin about his long, hard fought journey to his successful career as a logo designer. As one of the founders of Baby Giant Design Co. and the creator of the brand known as Made By James, he is no stranger to hard work and discipline. James, himself, said it best: "Effort is free." We discussed the tortuous path he took to get here, which was filled with a lot of pains and failures. Fortunately, James found wisdom and strength in these life lessons and eventually turned these failures into successes. A humble and honest gentleman through and through, it was a pleasure talking with James. As mentioned in the episode, here is the link to James Martin's website: https://themadebyjames.com You can find him on instagram via the handle made.by.james or just type James Martin in search. And if you're interested in a good read then by all means check out his book entitled "Made by James: The Honest Guide to Creativity and Logo Design", which can be found on Amazon, his website, and several other book sites. I pre-ordered one for myself and a buddy of mine. The book officially releases January 25, 2022 and I am looking forward to reading it cover to cover. Enjoy! (Beats by @owlnestmusic)
