In this episode I give you some reflections into what it was like for me being born and raised in an organization that many people would consider a religious cult today, as well as how the indoctrination process I received during my early years up until my middle 20’s impacted my life, habits, mindset and choices which led up to an emotional breakdown, illness and inability to cope.
From my own experience, I hope to shed some light on the belief process and how to identify whether your beliefs are right for you.
Our beliefs are merely habitual thinking patterns that we learn as children. Many of them may work very well for us, however other beliefs may be limiting our ability to create the very things we say we want in life.
What you want and what you believe may be very different.
Many people who do not have any cult experience tend to judge those who do, however it is also important to note that many who are born into cults do not realize that they are in one until they have no other option but to leave because cults are all about conformity and compliance.
In this episode I briefly touch on the following:
* Religion vs Spirituality
* How To Identify A Cult/Signs & Signals (religious or otherwise)
* Repercussions Of Leaving A Cult (fear of the unknown)
* How To Strengthen Your Instinct & Avoid Ignoring Your Intuition
* Establishing Who You Are At The Core (your identity)
* The Belief Modification Process.
