In episode #148, University of Arkansas Defensive End Landon Jackson, and University of Indiana Defensive Tackle Marcus Burris join KYPD! The guys, both 2020 graduates of Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas won two state championships in high school and were two of the highest recruited players in the State of Texas when they were in high school. They look back on their recruiting process and discuss things they wish they would've done differently and then give advice to current high school athletes involved in the recruiting process today. We then talk about lessons they learned while playing high school ball, and what they've learned about playing defensive line since they've gotten to college.

Coach Price and the Roadrunners just wrapped up an 11-3 campaign, back-to-back Conference USA Championships and bowl bids and are one of the hottest programs in the country. Today, we talk with the longtime Texas High School Football Coach about his rapid rise from high school assistant to Division 1 assistant coach and the lessons he's learned along the way. We get into the Roadrunners' unique culture that the staff has built at UTSA and how that has led to their success on the field. The Bison have won the NCAA FCS National championship nine times in the past eleven seasons and won the 2021 championship this past season over Montana.
