I can’t believe I haven’t already written a review for this podcast, this is long overdue. Travis and Michael are genuine and charismatic hosts who have a deep appreciation for the movies they review. They’re honest and thoughtful when they discuss giant monster movies. That being said, they always make sure to have fun and be creative, making every episode unique and enjoyable for every listener. Many similar podcasts are out there, but in terms of quality, you’ll have a difficult time finding any that come close to Kaiju Weekly.

Travis and Michael have an excellent program that makes Kaiju news exciting. They review a wide spread of movies and up so you’ll always be guessing what’s rising out of the ocean next. A great listen for all!

Kaiju Weekly has benefitted from being something of a safe zone for kaiju listeners--Not to say they don't have biting opinions when they want to, but they're more fun about it than our show. As such things stay fun, tight and have a sense of importance to the material being covered. Love the news bytes as many podcasts tend to forego that kind of material.

This show is a lot of fun! I'm a mom of two and I've been a monster movie fan for a as long as I can remember! It's nice that there are Kaiju podcasts available that I don't have to worry about listening to while my kids are in the room. Both Michael and Travis do a great job at putting on an entertaining and informative show without sounding too pretentious or "stuck up". Their friendly back and forth can get a little heated, but overall they both seem like they are having a lot of fun! I'd recommed anyone who is interested in the giant monster genre give this show a a listen ASAP! Keep up the great work guys! - Becca P.S. This podcast brings me back to a time when I saw the true value of these films without needing all the nitty gritty info. Travis and Michael show us what its like to be fans of this stuff and not having to be “know-it-alls”. The fun you get from this podcast reminds me of the old days when I would talk to my father about these kaiju films. I adore the embracement of all sides of the kaiju spectrum and this show delivers it. One of the most entertaining and fun Godzilla/kaiju podcasts available!

I absolutely love the Kaiju Weekly podcast. One thing KW offers that none of the other Kaiju podcasts really do is weekly news. Kaiju Weekly stays up to date and relevant in their podcasts as well as reviewing classic Kaiju goodness from a variety of different monster franchises. The camaraderie between Travis and Michael is fantastic as each offers something different to the show. Give this a listen whether you or an experienced fan or a newb like myself.

This is a fun and accessible podcast on kaiju and tokusatsu meant for new and veteran fans. The hosts have great rapports and the rotating guests keep things lively. I especially like when they bring in guests who have particular specialties, such as biology. Highly recommended!

This podcast is a lot of fun! The hosts (Travis, Stephen, and Michael) make a phenomenal team to discuss their favorite Kaiju movies and TV shows from the past and present while not taking themselves too seriously. This podcast is great for anyone just getting into the genre and for those who have been fans for decades! My favorite episodes so far have been Episode 09 where Michael and Travis cover “Frankenstein Conquers the World” and the hilarious episode where they covered the cult classic “The Giant Claw”. Do yourself and favor and give this podcast a listen and a sub!

Great and informative Podcast about everything Kailua, but that’s not all. I remember when Travis, Steven and Michael had each broken their respective legs while working as photographers and were holed up in their apartment while they recuperated in their own wheelchairs. While passing away the time while looking out the rear window of their apartment, they witnessed suspicious activity from the man in the apartment across the open garden in the complex. After investigating, they were certain that the man had murdered his spouse and put themselves in mortal danger to expose this heinous act. Instead of returning to photography once they healed, they decided to enter the more exciting and dangerous profession of podcasting about Giant Monsters.

I love this podcast. I have never been a big fan of giant monster movies for the most part, but this podcast puts a new spin on them for me. I think it is the true love of it from the podcasters that comes through as well as them being willing to explain simple things that true lovers would already know but newbies like me don’t. I also love the southern accents!! Keep up the good job.

Great show! Good for people who love Kaiju films or have never watched one. Quality improves with every episode.

Really fun podcast, both for kaiju lovers and kaiju noobs. I had these all downloaded for a while, but only just got around to listening to them. Really hoping for some more! (only weird thing, for some reason episode 2 and episode 3 are in the wrong order, as it is clear they were recorded in the opposite order since they reference eachother in the actual episodes)
