Unfortunate
I really want to like this podcast - I’ve followed Rachel for years, love her recipes and a lot of my favorite brands in the health and wellness space I’ve discovered have come from her platform, but this podcast made me see her in a different light. I’m ever episode with her husband, she comes off so demeaning and straight up rude, which seems to be a common thread in other reviews. It’s sad and honestly really hard to listen to. When I saw her Instagram teases of the episode talking about how vulnerable and honest the episode is, I was expecting something much different (i.e. not just bagging on her husband). Unfortunately, this is going to be the last time I give this podcast a try, as I don’t want to lose more respect for Rachel than I already have. Update: was blocked on IG after posting this…Guess Rachel isn’t one for transparency!

Incredibly Rude.
All she does is belittle her husband and her brother.

OG Listener
I've listened to every episode! Feels like you're chatting with a friend but also learning about health, wellness, relationships, and business. It's cool to look at brands and companies from a different perspective and still hear about family life of Rachel and Jordan.

Great listen!
Rachel & Jordon’s relationship podcast was the most relatable and raw podcast I’ve heard in a long time!

Disorganized and uncomfortable to listen to
There really needs to be more structure and organization of the podcast content. They go on so many random tangents and the flow is all over the place. I also have to agree with other reviews about how she treats her husband. There are some good guests and the podcast has good potential - just polish it up a bit more and work on the chemistry

Enjoyable with good guests
I really enjoy listening to the behind the scenes of the food business and I really respectful the hustle and hard work it has taken her to be so successful. But it is can be uncomfortable listening to the way she speaks to Jordan; I know marriage is SO tough but I feel badly for him. The show would be more enjoyable if they could find a good common ground to include him without it getting tense. The topics they discuss are very informative and interesting!

Just the good stuff keeps it real
The most recent episode where Rachel and Jordan share insight into their daily life working together and raising children will resonate with so many parents. Particularly moms who are often struggling to manage the emotional load of being the leader of the home while juggling careers.

Awkward to listen to
Listening to the realness in parenting and working together episode felt very awkward, especially the part about Rachel being alpha and hearing her kind of berate her husband to an audience of strangers? I know they are trying to show that it’s not perfect but I feel there’s a better way of saying it without airing their dirty laundry. Some other episodes too she has digs at him and sounds annoyed with him while he just awkwardly is silent and it feels like as a listener I am intruding on a private tense argument.

Not nice
It’s so hard to listen to someone bully her husband for an entire episode. #teamjordan

Awkward
The first and only episode I listened to was about her husband going gluten free. Unfortunately, I stopped listening after 20 minutes because of how rude she was being to him. Maybe she doesn’t realize the slights and digs aren’t funny?

Fav podcast
Love how Rachel is able to have such realistic and relatableconversations around parenting and nutrition. She takes a lot of time to understand the story behind brands she believes in and does a great job in sharing their stories to listeners who share similar values in how they choose brands that they bring into their homes and families.

Orthorexic Practices Normalized & Promoted
TL;DR: This podcaster clearly suffers from disordered eating and I do not recommend for folks in recovery or the midst of an eating disorder or disordered eating (or in general). Try Food Psych Podcast and Food Heaven Podcast instead I listened to three episodes. In all three, including one about her disordered eating history, she discussed currently engaging in highly disordered practices (examples: lied to her son because she didn’t want him to eat “overly processed” food; being extremely controlling over her toddlers’ diets in general (good food/bad food), freaking out if meal plans changed, canceling plans due to food control, reading labels, downplaying how much movement she does daily when her husband notes she definitely walks more than she admits). She also dismisses the systemic privilege afforded to thin people (say this as a thing person). She cannot seem to accept that her thin body does indeed give her both societal and systemic privilege (of which over a dozen recent studies could easily attest to). Most concerning was that her husband (a guest on two) and herself normalized her behaviors and beliefs as healthy. If you struggle or are in recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating, do not listen to this as it may be triggering (or enraging to see this behavior promoted to vulnerable individuals). As a whole, I hope she works with a HAES dietitian and therapist to truly heal. I HIGHLY recommend @FoodPsych podcast instead.

Be careful of what information you take from this
I only listened to one episode so I can’t evaluate the whole show. If she’s trying to educate listeners about a medical condition she should be mindful about how the condition is pronounced. It raises the concern that laypeople are getting information from someone without formal medical/scientific training.

Annoying voice
She talks like a high school girl; very fast at times and mumbles thru things that she seems to think aren’t important. Hard to get past that. Jordan on the other hand has a nice chill voice. I’d listen to him. Pass on this one.

Please bring back the podcast
I really enjoy Rachel’s podcast and Instagram. Her interview podcasts with other food bloggers and brand CEOs are great, but I think her podcasts with Jord are my favorite. They have a great dynamic. I like how Rachel discusses mom life and the “messy” things in life while also being business savvy. I went through infertility and hearing her story really made me feel less alone. I hope she starts up the podcast again!

Love Rachel
I love Rachel’s bubbly personality, she really shares her full personality on every platform she has. I think she makes her context fun and inviting. Anyone who has anything negative to say clearly just wants to bring down such a Bright light! Keep up your great work! Love you and your show! Ps: you’re an incredible Mom and wish you and Jordan ALL the babies!🤍

My favorite podcast!
I look forward to Rachel’s podcast every week! I love how real and down to earth Rachel is about life, and shares not only the positives, but also the difficult parts. A lot of that has personally helped me. I can’t even find a favorite episode, because so many of them are so wonderful.

Uninteresting
Not surprised to see a review below that Rachel blocked someone for having a different opinion than her. She can’t ever take criticism and this podcast is boooooring. So many other better pods with similar topics

Disappointed
I used to really look up to Rachel, but recently I (respectfully) shared a different view on an Instagram story that she had posted. I thought I was really thoughtful and had taken the time to write out my thoughts in a gentle and respectful manner. Sadly she immediately blocked me on Instagram, without saying anything in return. I’m really disappointed at the pettiness and level of privilege that this exudes. I used to think she was relatable and real, but have found that to be the case less and less. I’m really sad, because I feel like I’m finding that she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. That petty, privileged, and inaccessible tone sadly comes across in the podcast. I would not recommend listening. Glad I didn’t buy her cookbook. She has a narrow mind with little interest in others.

Always look forward to new episodes of Just the Good Stuff!
Rachel does such a good job of asking all of guests the exact questions that I would like to learn about. I have learned so much not only about health and wellness but also about entrepreneurship and how leading health brands have come to be. I leave every episode feeling inspired - like I can take on the world. She is so genuine and is really just her authentic self. Her recipes are also amazing. So thankful for this podcast, Rachel, and her tasty recipes!❤️❤️ —@simplyhann_

Only health podcast you need
She brings in the best guests and asks such good questions! Especially love her endings with fave fun questions to ask such as favorite food for each meals of the day and as a kid. She is so genuine and supports similar health and wellness influencers. Her cook book is as great as her podcast and insta! My husband knows immediately if it was a rachlmansfield recipe. You must try her banana bakery muffins, all her desserts are fab and my fave savory meal is her chili bean less and amazing always extra in my freezer - Xoxo, @biancswalsh

My new fav!
As a podcast addict, I must say, this one is definitely my new favorite! I’ve been following Rachel’s Instagram for a while - her stories are full of amazing recipes & brands for healthy living, and I love learning about the stories behind the companies. Rachel is a great interviewer and the content is so informative & inspiring. Think NPR’s “How I Built This” mixed with a Sunday-brunch-with-your-BFF vibe. Highly recommend! (IG @ejbess)
