Welcome to The YOUness Project!
My name is Kari and I’m a 8-5 working mom on the journey to self-improvement. I create and teach development trainings for a living. My trainings are usually regarding making a better workplace, professional development, and employee wellness. In the past year (2020), the enfaces on wellness and awareness as grown, thus, trainings regarding communication, emotional intelligence, team building, stress management, and change management have increased as well.
While seeing and hearing the need for more conversation regarding these topics I realized I had work to do myself. Going through unexpected life changes of my own was the final nail in the coffin of the old avoiding, codependent, overthinking, negative self-talking me, victimizing me through true vulnerable honest self-awareness.
I started The YOUness Project to share practical tips I have learned and continue to learn through this process. There’s so much information out there and my goal is to cut to the chance and provide information that can be easier to apply especially for those of us that already have an overflowing plate. I’m not a therapist, I’m just a working mom sharing what I have learned and hope it helps you as it has me. So let's get started with scheduling shorts amounts of time to reflect on yourselves.
