Today we have emergency medicine resident Dr. Janet, @tangerinescrubs here to discuss the reality of emergency medicine! she shares with us her craziest stories from the ER as a resident, her experience transitioning from student doctor to resident doctor, and her harrowing tales of boards trauma. We also discuss the benefits of a gap year, and how to gracefully answer the age old question from patients: "how old are you anyways?". In addition we also discuss how she navigated tough times during med school including interviews/match season, how she knew emergency medicine was the right specialty for her, and how she began to grow her confidence at the gym!
