Love the interaction!
Having two people who do the talking makes it very interesting and there is always a topic that I want to see. When will there be a new one????

You don't have to be a parent to enjoy JM...
... though if you were completely uninterested in kids, this is not the podcast for you. I'm an aunt, and this is one of my favorite podcasts. I get great tips that help me increase my "Cool Aunt" status in the eyes of the niece/nephews. They have terrific guests most weeks. I've learned a lot and also had lots of laughs listening to this show. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers and anyone else who has kids in their life--check it out.

Good job Megan and Leo!
Jumping Monkeys is one of 3 podcasts I listen to. My favorite part of the show is the spend, save, give segment. I hope you guys never stop doing this podcast

Jumping Monkeys
My husband watched you two on Screensavers and I also..I love your parenting in the digital age podcasts and look forward to them everyweek....Keep up the good work and I have nothing bad to say...LOVE IT :)

Great merging of technology and parenting
I love listening to Megan - I have 2 boys around her son's age and can relate to most of her stories. It's good to know that a cool Mom like her is going through the same experiences. This is a well organized podcast with great chemistry between the hosts and timely advice.

spend/save/give fan
I look forward to this podcast every week. My absolute favorite part is the spend, save, give segment. I have found more tips from just this segment alone than I can even count. I would listen even if this were all there was to the show. But, then, add on audible book pics, guest interviews, etc... it just gets better. Thanks for making my commute to work each day a breeze!

smart, witty and informative
I really enjoy this podcast! It holds my attention the whole time -- i enjoy Megan's book selections and she is very smart -- and Leo's lighthearted wit is a nice balance. I've picked up many great website tips and have enjoyed most of the interviews as well. The only annoying thing is the Audible plugs -- enough!!!

You rock
One of the very first podcast I've ever came across. I enjoyed catching up with all the previous shows & now wait patiently for all new ones. I even now watch live on twit.tv on thursdays 3:30 central! You guys rock, please keep it up :)

Has potential
I like the concept of this podcast, I like how they include lots of technical information with the child rearing subjects. I just find it a bit dry, and Megan, I think you're great, but I listened to the recent episode featuring Dad Gone Mad, and you smacked your lips a LOT and I found it very distracting. Now you'll probably be overly conscious of it, and I'm sorry, but it's gotta go!

A Monkeys Uncle
I'm not a parent, but I pass on the ideas I hear on this show to my sisters and brothers-in-law. This podcast has also helped me become the really cool uncle in the eyes of my 7 year old neice.

Parental discussion for the tech savvy
Megan and Leo chew over the thorny subject of children in a wired world. Never preachy, and always informative, it tackles the issues that concern me as my 5 year old grows up in a house with 5 computers and 4 gaming systems. Highly recommended.

Fun 4 The Parents
It is one of the great netcasts for the parent(s) to listen and enjoy. Megan and Leo are great together discussing insightful and provocative programs. The guests are great to listen on product or talent that the showcase. Keep up the great show and wish for many more as long as Megan and Leo enjoy providing for the parents.

Great show for all!
Love this podcast. My husband and I are in the "planning for kids" stage, and it is fascinating to see what is out there. But there is plenty of info for non-parents as well, especially in the "spend, save, give" segments. I'm still trying to get my sisters to be more tech-savvy, but until then, I'll just have to write down links and email them.

Fun Podcast
I enjoy the combination of family and tech the Leo and Megan talk about.

This is a very informative and fun podcast. Megan is such an enlightened mom and keeps the show interesting and on track. Leo is,...well a big kid. I have loved every episode. Thanks Megan and Leo!

Laugh out loud
This was my first podcast and I love it! I love the sections Spend- Save-Give. Such a great idea. I get so many links of places to look at that I would never have found without JM. Leo and Megan are funny together and make a great team. Great show guys

Fab webcast!!
I've been a fan of Leo and Megan's since their TechTV days, and I love hearing their combined views and wide range of parental experiences. I love the Spend, Save, Give segment, I love that they are now taking calls and emails, and I love that they will follow up with all of the links and show notes. Lots of good info from good people in a time when parenting can be even more of a challenge than usual!

Really Great Info for Today's Parents
I really enjoy this podcast. Leo and Meagan are a treat to listen to and they provide information that is useful on a day to day basis. The guests are great as the are all creative individuals who have also had to figure out how to balance work and raising children in this modern era. Listening to Jumping Monkeys kept me sane while my wife went out of town for a week and left me home alone with our 9 month old.

A Must Listen
This podcast is really great. Leo and Megan come up with some great ideas and the interviews they have are very cool. It is great to get their different perspectives (Leo's kids are teenagers and Megan's are pre-schoolers) on all of the issues relating to parenting and technology.

Best half hour of my week
I love these. My three boys are older than Mega's kids but not as old as Leo's and I learn something every time. One must be careful not to look too foolish when listening in the car, as the laughter can be quite contagious.

Love the Show!!
I love the content you give and the guests you have on the show. I also like the fact that you manage to keep the show gender nuetral and not just geared towards Moms. As a side note, I'd love to see what would happen if you had Dvorak on the show....lol

Some really good moments...
While there are some very interesting spots on the show, and some really good ideas, I am really having a hard time getting by some of the truly inane comments and poor editing and show direction. For example talking about something and having no idea about it. For example, they talked about a wonderful LOCAL program called "FreeCycle" where you offer stuff over the web you would other wise send to the dump, for free to people who live near you. There is no shipping involved, none, nada. You arrange to have it picked up or dropped off. I kept shouting at my Ipod when they kept talking and talking about who would pay for shipping... NOBODY. It is called FREEcycle as in FREE and Recycle. If you are going to bring up these wonderful opportunites make sure you understand the concept. And finally, when this show first started I thought it was sound glitches when Leo would play music over their speaking and drown out the voices, but I have come to realize that it is just the way they are producing the show. I feel like they are sitting around with their laptops and chatting and happen to have a microphone there. As we are listening they will pull up websites and talk about them as we are seeing them as well, they wait and we hear music or what ever is on the website as they watch what is playing on screen. I find this very frustrating as I am rarely sitting at my computer when listening to my IPod. I do love the concept of not only having parents with young kids but of teens as well. I also really like the tips and insights into the tech world they give us, I am just not sure I can get past the production.

Hard to Follow at Times
I don't know if I was tired or what, but this was hard to follow. Not for me!

One of the "Must Listen To" podcasts...
This is a different twist for Leo, but I think it's a great fit in the Twit network. It's a great cross between the geek and parent in any tech person.

Great Netcast
Filled with great information and entertainment. Megan and Leo are down to earth and their close family relationship seems to bring it all together. Keep it up guys!

Good Solid Information
My children are all grown, but I'm really looking forward to grandkids and I'm glad to hear and find some of the resources that Leo and Megan talk about. Sure they are chatty, but they are really old friends whose familes interact regularly, so the conversation is not stressed or disingenious. I enjoy the chatter and the great interviews! Try it, I'm sure you will like it and make it a regular part of your week.

Yay monkeys!
Any parent (or parent-to-be like me) will find lots of links and tips for cheating in the parenting world. I have found a lot of great stuff. These aren't professionals telling you what you should do to make perfect little genius children, these are real parents explaining how they survive with kids.
imnotskippy
Love all the links!
I work from home and thoroughly enjoy all the information Megan and Leo give each week. Having listened to a lot of different podcasts each week, this is my favorite by far. I love the special guests and especially love the spend, save, give section of the show. Great production! Definitely take a listen.

Megan & Leo Provide Helpful Information
Megan and Leo's chemistry is PUMPIN' as they guide parents and the cautious web-user through family friendly websites, music, video links, and tips for parenting during the post iPod-age.

A great parenting podcast!
Jumping Monkeys is, as are all the TWIT podcasts, a very well produced, informative, and entertaining show. I have two little boys, 8 and 5 years old, and I find something in each edition of Jumping Monkeys that helps me be a better pappa to them.

One of my favorites
I've listened to all 19 shows so far and they're great. I've got two kids under 3 and I really appreciate all of the tips, websites and discussions. The spend-save-give always has good ideas and Megan and Leo have interviewed some very interesting people.

Great!
I am really enjoying this podcast. It's fun and relevant to my life as a mom of three kids - ages 2, 7, and 9. I frequently check out the links that Megan and Leo recommend and feel a lot more informed and "with it" after listening! The tone of the show is fun and casual, a relaxing break! Thanks...

Jumping Monkeys
Always entertaining, always informative, always a pleasure to listen to. The two co-hosts are both fun and knowledgeable, and the guests provide an insight into something new each week. If you've got kids, no matter what age they are, my advice is--jump in!

Great Family Podcast
Something new and interesting each time. I love the "spend, save, give" section. Megan has such a friendly, smart style. She really knows what she's talking about.

True colors shine through...
Was really enjoying you podcast until your true colors shine through, Leo. If your a Conservative Republican, move along, nothing to see here. Leo thinks your "anti-family", and he's bringing the Moveon.org crowd to prove it. It's only going to get worse as the elections get closer. Sorry, but I've got more open-minded, inclusive celebs that I can listen to.

Excellent podcast
This is really a wonderful show. Megan and Leo have a nice repoire. Worth checking out!

Light, Practical, Thoughtful, Fun and Informative
This is a great podcast for parents at all levels of techno-savvy with kids of any age. It is well worth an hour each week for a busy parent. If this sounds like you, then subscribe and you will not regret it. I feel compelled to write to Megan & Leo every time I listen, and cannot wait to see who's on deck for the next interview. Great tips, links & insights from a casual pair with a breadth of experience, interesting content and great chemistry. I love it, keep 'em coming!

A Bit Chatty But Informative
Unfortunately Leo's level of comfort with Megan seems to bring about an overly verbose Leo. He should let Megan bring the content with a bit less of Leo's pleasent and usually welcomed wit. Also I would feel more comfortable listening to this podast if Leo was to cut down on the PG-rated jokes and references. On the positive side, there hasn't been a episode yet that hasn't had some useful information that either I've used myself or passed on to others. To summarize, it's a great podcast but some of the fat should be trimmed.

More Like Yakking Monkeys
What a bunch of self-serving nonsense. If they had a clue about what parents need they wouldn't spend so much time yakking about nothing and GET TO THE POINT! You think I have this kind of time?

Finally
Yes! Finally a podcast with me in mind. I am a mother of a 13 year old and a newborn. So glad to finally have one show where I can get tips for both. Thanks

The Divas LOVE Jumping Monkeys
What is different about JM than other parent podcasts, besides the techno knowledge, is the range of parental experience. We're not only getting Megan's reflections and pointers about being a new mom, but we also get Leo's perspective of an involved and engaged Dad who "has been there". We loved the show that spoke about what books/gadgets you thought were going to be helpful as a parent verses what really made a difference. Great Podcast ~ Keep it up! The Divas
