Sometimes we say we believe something, but our actions do not show it. When it comes to Christianity, we want to align our actions with what we say we believe about Jesus so we can be an example of Jesus' love to others. Ashley teaches about how our lives can be great examples of Jesus simply by the way we conduct ourselves in our daily interactions with others.

Words are powerful. They can be used for both good and evil. We can use our words to spread gossip, lies, to badmouth, to be rude, to bring people down, etc. Or we can use our words to reflect God’s goodness by thinking before we speak, speaking the truth, saying nice things, and thanking God. This week, Edgar talks about the importance of how we use our words in the life of a follower of Jesus.

Every single day companies or people who try to influence the way we live in both positive and negative ways. They have money and power. We on the other hand may feel helpless because of our age, lack of followers, or lack of resources. But the way we live does matter and can have a positive influence on the people around us to experience the transformational love of Christ.
