Here is the first of what might become a series of discussions with experts about what journalism is doing wrong and right in covering the COVID-19 pandemic. I start with epidemiologist Dr. Gregg Gonsalves of Yale, who has been a trenchant critic of coverage, especially of armchair epidemiology from the op-ed pages of The New York Times.
