I am independent, in liking battle tendency! Idk why people don’t like phantom blood and battle ten, maybe because they are weak weebs who think stands are LIFE. Anyway, great podcast, this is another LEGENDARY podcast where they actually talk about what the podcast is about its self! (literally 95 percent of podcasts have people talk about RANDOM crap. So thank u. It helped me understand the show yet I have moderate - severe OCD. So watching jojo there is so much weird stuff I want to PUT IN PLACE. As like Iggy not having a ginormous forehead and for some reason they all have Huge Legs and- 👄 so enjoy the anime, or enjoy the podcast, or neither idc. And if u play roblox or something I DEFINITELY recommend yba. ( it’s the official jjba arc. 5 golden wind game.)

I started listening to this for my second reading of steel ball run, I have really enjoyed it so far! I hope they will start updating soon so I can hear what they say about the suger mountain arc.

Hello! I’m a queer middle school girl who loves nothing but Shounen manga and fashion. So when a few months ago my friend at camp suggested Jojo to me I was ready to try it. This show has been a lovely coping mechanism during quarantine and your podcast is a wonderful companion! You recognize everything great about this groundbreaking series, as well as everything that should not exist. (Iggy the dog)I have insomnia and often listen to this before I go to sleep. Thank you for this great podcast.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while and I recently started season five. This podcast is fine but my only complaint is is that when you hate a character you have to constantly bring it up even in later seasons. I just think that if you hate a character don’t bring it up as much as you do. I understand that you want to make jokes out of it but I feel like if you hate a character like polnareff (a character that I really like) and you keep talking about how much you hate him it just makes me feel ashamed or embarrassed to like him. I know I probably sound petty but this is just a issue for me.

I really enjoy it, I have been struggling lately in reading the manga, but listening to part seven has really motivated to read the part, I can’t wait for them to talk about part 6 :D

First of all I just got to say keep up the great work. Overall I wanted to say that thank for bringing some light into my life I’ve been going through tough times and been depressed a lot but when I listen to your podcast it brings me so much joy the jokes are amazing and the content is great anyways if you want a podcast to listen to that makes you feel like you having a conversation with friends and love JJBA this is the perfect podcast for you. I would definitely recommend this Podcast to someone who has already completed JoJo, mostly because when I was listening to Stardust Crusaders you guys would sometimes make references to other Parts or sometimes kinda spoil. If someone is keeping up exactly like “I’ll watch this episode then listen to the JoJo’s Bizarre Explainer” it’d probably be fine because they would have no idea what you’re talking about. However, if someone was listening to some of your Part 3 episodes and they haven’t finished Vento Aureo then they’d most likely get spoiled. Some of these episodes are pretty old so I understand that you guys can’t change anything. But, if you decide to do another similar Podcast on a differed show then maybe don’t make references to newer episodes/seasons. I really do hope I don’t come off as rude! I do think you guys make excellent points are funny, I just felt like I had to bring that up. Thanks for the Podcast!

Listened to a few episodes before passing it up. There are better JoJo podcasts out there. Don’t waste your time with this one

I love listening to this podcast. It’s not for the person who actually wants an in-depth review of the series, but if you need 3 people who love a series coming together to talk, joke, and laugh about it, this is perfect for that. I listen to this podcast either at work or working on cosplays, and it’s perfect for a good listen while keeping your hands busy. (Sorry if I spell names wrong in these next statements.) Darius, Elizabeth, and Courtney all have distinctive personalities that really drive the commentary; Courtney has blunt and straightforward sense of humor that just knocks you off your feet since usually the others either make way (or it’s edited out) for his commentary because it’s simple, cuts deep into the content, and nails it so that the idea gets through to you and you can’t help but laugh at anything he says. Darius complements Courtney in many ways but also has his own jokes to throw in (his love for doner kebabs specially sticks out to me at the moment), and often sneaks in his own little jokes at opportune moments that really just make me laugh at an unexpected moment. Also his at-the-moment research or former knowledge of certain topics are wonderful to listen to, and get you going almost every single time. (Also appreciate that he subscribed to the Hol Horse-Mista theory, glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that.) Every time Elizabeth starts laughing you know she’s going to say something good. Wether it’s a joke about someone being gay (those are some of my favorites) or that someone’s gotten married, is just fantastic. Also just hearing her laugh, it’s hard not to laugh along as well, her being the most boisterous and passionate of the group. Also love there references from her about doujins or fanfics, there are some that I’ve perked up about and been like “oh I’ve read that!”, and just started laughing as she says how she feels about it. It’s just fantastic how these three personalities compliment each other so well, it’s hard not to keep listening. Their coverage off less known topics like all the extra Rohan content is wonderful as well, it’s nice to see some other stuff from the series other than the main series. I simply cannot get enough of this bunch, please keep making wonderful and hilarious content. (Definitely can’t wait for part 6 and 7 though, it’s gonna just go BALLS TO THE WALLS then. 😂)

I started watching JJBA with the English Dub on Netflix a few months ago and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Fast forward to today and I’ve binged my way through Stardust Crusaders on Amazon and DIU on Crunchy roll. I just started Golden Wind and had gone to Reddit to read episode discussions as a companion thread to prolong the JoJo adventure... yet there was still a void I didn’t know I had and I wished I had people to share this experience with. This podcast fills that void and makes me want to wait until the S5 podcast is caught up so I feel like I’m watching the episodes along with the crew. I went back and am bingeing on S4 of the podcast and the commentary is the best. Love your chemistry with each other and how the show flows. I love the queer perspective on the series even though I’m straight... it just adds a whole new hilarious view to the series that actually makes sense. Love the podcast. I hope it never ends when you’re done podcasting about part 5. Hope you guys continue with the podcast whether or not it’s about JJBA cuz I love your show and could listen to you all talk about anything.

For reference I listened to the podcast through the beginning into the middle of Stardust Crusaders. Their shoes about Part 4 might get better, but during Part 2 onwards the show seemed to take a big dip in quality. The big problem is that it’s not particularly funny. The majority of the humor seems to be generated from pointing out one character or another is gay. This is a constant fallback and as a gay guy it generates little amusement personally, but even beyond that it’s obnoxious even if I don’t think the hosts mean any harm by it Said hosts are also really bad at following the narrative of the story. They get lost and distracted and are very often scant on details unless they run into something they really dislike or find offensive in which case they will generally dedicate more time to that than anything else. A lol of weird and funny junk happens in various episodes that they miss. Voice wise the hosts are good for the most part, though they often sound (and also honestly seem) uninterested to be there. Audio mixing is good as well. The problem really is the content itself sadly. If you can stand the repetitive nature and lack of jokes and focus, it might be good background noise if you’re into jojo. Otherwise I’d say steer clear

I love this podcast, it is absolutely hilarious. Plus, I appreciate learning more about the queerness of Jojo, and the hosts give a great perspective on that!

I’ve already watched/read all of JoJo, but I can’t stop listening to this podcast. I only started a couple of days ago, but listening to these takes on JoJo is addicting! So much love for the cast and you can really tell they love the source material and JoJo as a whole.

10/10! I keep coming back and listening to this podcast and I just love it! It’s a must listen for JoJo fans.

Not just the best JoJo’s podcast, but my FAVORITE podcast. The best part of my week is the 22 minutes of bliss I get from hearing these 3 hosts talk about JJBA. As an LGBT person, I love their perspective, and their love of the source material is apparent!

Much like the refreshing taste of Santana Beer, this podcast goes down smooth and leaves a good taste in my mouth. I love this podcast more than Vanilla Ice loves Dio. The lore proposed in this podcast is now my headcanon for the series. Much like Joseph Joestar and his Walkman, I listen to this podcast on the go. And like Josuke and his hair, I would beat up anyone who insulted this podcast. Keep on doing for the world of podcasts what Giorno does for the mafia. All in all, I would give this podcast 5 Joestar birthmarks out of 5. Gureto daze.

I cannot imagine another trio, better suited to contextualizing all the visual stimuli of the Araki-verse. Plus they'll help you be better prepared for your next encounter with the terrifyingly handsome immortal vampire mangaka. You'll know pretty early on if you aren't ready for the trip that is JJBA, but if you're willing to hop aboard this crazy train then you're in good company. A wild and fun ride is waiting. I was already a JoJo fan but I've gained a whole new appreciation of the franchise through their story analysis, introduction of history & outside details, and hilarious commentary. I always listen as soon as a new episode drops and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. Also as a queer person myself I love the discussion of JUST HOW GAY JoJo is, a Fact not always appreciated by mainstream coverage of the series. 10/10, truly GUREEETO!

I had a hard time with the first arc of JoJo but listening to this podcast made me realize that I need to dive back in and see what I've been missing! All three are wonderful people with amazing projects and I can't wait to listen to more episodes and dive back into the anime with a companion podcast
