JJ THE CPA HERE: Let’s tackle it. Crisis is here. And one of the first questions I get is, “ How am I Going to Pay my Bills?” Well, let’s talk about that. Let’s assess. And I will tell you the how we can solve for that answer, in this episode.

Small businesses are the backbone to the US economy. In the time of crisis small businesses can make or break their future in the first three weeks following a crisis. Just like when throwing a bowling ball or putting a golf ball, at first it’s simply moving forward but soon there after you can see if it went in the complete different direction you intended. By following a few steps that I talk about here, a small business can get through the initial phase of a crisis to be strong three weeks after the crisis; which is the most crucial time, in my opinion, for a small business to recover from any crisis. Assess. Hold. Wait. See. I walk through how I’ve helped clients through crisis’ well before the one we find ourselves in today. Be safe out there. Thanks for listening!

Drippin’ water hollows out stone, not through force, but through persistence. I’ve never been THE best at anything. I’d didn’t finish first in my class or win a championship in anything I played or competed at. I didn’t get a 4.0 in college or pass the CPA exam the first time. What I have is, persistence. Persistence to start my CPA practice at age 25 and still maintain it to this day, going strong at 23 years so far. Persistence to leave home at age 17 with 6 boxes of everything I owned, never to return with my only option being to succeed at supporting myself, going to college in my own dime to learn something that could get me a j-o-b. Persistence has made who I am. I’d love to share more with you in this podcast as share a little bit more on how persistence has been key for me, JJ THE CPA.
