In our last Jesus Stories episode, Jesus issued an invitation to come to him. He encourages us to take his yoke and find rest. But what does this mean? We explore the Biblical concept of rest as we talk about “rest for your souls”. How do we obtain this rest? Is it still available to us? In a world which is in turmoil, how can Jesus promise this rest? Join me as I break down Jesus’ invitation in this episode of Jesus Stories.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS EPISODE?
From the beginning of time, Jehovah God has set an ideal for families. In this Jesus Stories episode, we begin by talking about this ideal. Then our guest speaker, Al Robinson, will take us into the current time and using the example of King David (or the non-example, if you will) share with us some principles we can put into practice to improve our family relationships. This is a vitally important discussion for Jesus Stories.

What does it mean for you and me today? How does Jesus brings us new life, reconciliation, and salvation? Without this coming we would still be looking for those life-giving attributes.
