A gem! So happy Jesse’s back!
Jesse’s sense of humor hits me so hard. He took an understandable hiatus, but now he’s back! Thanks for the stories, insights and laughs!

Funny and relatable
I always enjoyed Jesse's random references on Probably Science and now there's even more on his own show. Really good stuff, keep it up. Good dog.

Great podcast
Agree totally with his comments about the election . The guy speaks his mind and is right. For the rest, his other episodes are also usually interesting, he is very open and honest about his medical condition , I hope to be able to listen to his podcasts for many more years to come.

Refreshing and Honest
An incredible podcast hosted by a brutally honest and hilarious Jesse. He is so real with himself and his listeners about any and everything surrounding his life, especially his stage 4 colon cancer. When I listen I feel as if I'm catching up with an old friend I've known for years.

Hysterical and Touching
I never miss an episode. Honest about what's happened in his life. Talking at times about really heavy topics in such a way that I am laughing out loud, but touched to the core. Such an empathetic guy, but then he rips the bandaid right off!!!! We can handle it. Whatever life sends our way.

Never miss, always keeps me smiling! Keep it up Jesse.

The best
Jesse is amazingly funny and real in this podcast. I've lost a few friends to cancer and I really enjoy this podcast! PS even if you don't know someone who's died of cancer it's still good!

Necessary
This podcast is incredibly helpful and truthfully quite entertaining. For me it has felt validating. But then, I'm good at looking at something and then making it all about myself. Beyond anything having to do with sickness, I think what Jesse is doing here is unifying on a human level. Also he is absolutely hilarious.

Love love love
My favorite part of my Monday morning commute. I really enjoy Jesse's take on life, cancer, death, and comedy.

Funny and real
Jesse is a great comedian that is very smart and easy to listen to that takes such a touchy subject such as cancer and makes you see it from the stance of a patient. Listening to him you find yourself laughing one second and the next feeling melancholy then back to laughing. This is the realist podcast out there and is a must listen.

If you're into fart guns! This is the podcast for you
Funny and honest, Jesse rants about just about anything. Sometimes it's weird sometimes is real, but most of the time it's really weird. Creating a small sense of community that can be followed on Twitter and his website. Great podcast, fingers crossed I'll be one of the final four around that table!

Hilarious!
You have a talent. You managed to make a podcast about cancer truly, undeniably hilarious. Great podcast. One of my favorites.

Something totally new
Not all of the content is for everyone, but there’s something about this podcast that draws me and keeps me. It has moments of honesty and insight that you don’t get anywhere else. Jesse Case is an interesting and engaging person with lots to say and I’m happy I get to listen in every week.

Be nice to people...
....it's important. I've followed Jesse for a while so I knew his diagnosis and situation but hadn't listened. An in-law recently died of cancer and I realized I didn't think I was equipped to handle it if someone close to me was diagnosed so I tuned in. I love it. It's hilarious and there some real advice in here.

Hilarious, Irreverent and Honest
Jesse is a hilarious comedian. His bizarre and irreverent sense of humor allows him to tackle both the profound and the mundane aspects of cancer, dealing with treatment, and life in general in an honest and relatable way.

Just Fantastic
I started listening to this podcast because Jesse always made me laugh the most on his other podcast, "Probably Science." After listening to over 10 hours of this JVC I'm still looking forward to each episode. Jesse is not only hilarious but also insightful and very relatable. From cancer talk to anxiety quirks and tampons commercials, Jesse manages to make every topic worth listening to. Thank you Jesse!

Started listening 1 month after podcast started.....I anticipate it every Sunday now! Really like what you're doing Jesse....lots of courage....and dick jokes!(lol). Seriously though, it is very refreshing to listen to someone who is not blinded by the "reality" that we all live in today. Keep up the fight and the good work!

Funny guy with a good soul
Jesse may have received a terrible diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, but his sense of humor and insightful views on his situation and the world around him are entertaining and enlightening.

Funny, Honest, Morbid
Jesse's podcast is meant to capture snapshots of his life and experience of having colon cancer. Some moments are very open and down-to-earth: considering his own mortality, how cancer has effected not only him but those around him, and other moments are just downright lighthearted and fun. Give the podcast a shot-- it's definitely not for everyone, but what Jesse is doing is very sincere and genuine. Great guy, at least given what I know after listening to his hour-long shows every week. Really look forward to them.

Awesome
Discovered this podcast in August 2015 whilst in hospital recovering from my own bout of cancer. Anyone who has been in hospital know’s what its like , you lie there trying to get to sleep and every hour or so a nurse comes round and takes your temperature and vitals, just to make sure you are ok. You are unable to get back to sleep so you browse your phone for something to do and thats when I found this podcast. A brilliant mix of comedy and pathos, this podcast talks about cancer, what its like ,what its not like and how to cope. As the episodes progress we get updates on Jesse’s treatment, prognosis and his hilarious musings on life, gun control, chemo, star trek, typewriters and stand up comedy. Highly recommended !!!

Don't Listen To While You're Driving...
... because seriously, you might crash from laughing so hard. That's how I found out about the podcast, my wife was afraid she was going to wreck her car while laughing so hard, so she decided to only listen at home and asked if I wanted to listen with her. I was skeptical a podcast about a guy with cancer could be THAT funny. I'm skeptical ANY podcast could be that funny. But Jesse really is hilarious because he is by turns very, very smart, crass, nuanced and empathetic. It's a unique mix for someone in unique circumstances and a unique set of abilities to articulate an experience that cuts to the core of being alive and dying in the foreseeable future (possibly).

Might be my new favorite podcast
Jesse has created a seriously funny, inspirational, full of love podcast. I know it sounds super depressing. But it is actually the opposite. I look forward to every episode, and I always hope for another one. Regardless of how it ends, I am glad that Jesse invited us on this beautiful journey

Genuine
His perspective on having cancer is like no other perspective I have ever heard. It is genuinely interesting and hopeful - but not the cliche hopeful. Take a listen

Honest, Funny and full of Feels
I'd never heard of Jesse Case until he was mentioned on The Nerdist Podcast a couple episodes ago. Andrea Savage was talking about him and his cancer journey and the fact he was podcasting through it all. Maybe I just felt like watching a train wreck but something in me made me search it out and I downloaded all the episodes he had posted already. I was prepared to delete it as soon as he got all "why me" on us but he didn't. I was hooked. He doesn't let it get too heavy but you get a good look into what it feels like to be facing something that might kill you. And I've learned a LOT about the whole cancer process. Jesse approaches things with a realistic attitude that is refreshing and makes you think about stuff. There is also an accompanying website and forum to interact with him and other listeners as well as the famous Donate button which he's using to help pay for health care for patients at Vanderbilt that can't afford care. Check him out. Follow him on Twitter and join the web convo! We're all friends here.

Raw real life and funny
I heard about Jesse on Nerdist, I love his warped sense of humor and his bravery. Rooting for Jesse. My dad survived the same kind of cancer so hang on Jesse!!!!

Amazing Podcast!
One of my favorite podcasts to date. Jesse has an amazing outlook on life despite a tough diagnosis. This is so much more than a podcast about cancer. Jesse reminds everyone to do the things that make you happy and to never lose your sense of humor. I love his honesty and realism. I recommend this to literally everyone.

Perfect
I’m writing this review only because I understand this is how you can contribute to a podcast getting a wider audience. This podcast is poignant and smart and feeling. Scary, funny, enlightening, infuriating, it’s life as it faces potentially ending. Beautiful. Great job. A hell of a way to spend an hour of your week.

I will be part of the final 5!
I absolutely love everything about this podcast, except the reason it came into being. Jesse is honest and warm, while also hilarious and inspiring. You somehow get to feel like you're helping him by listening, when truly you're reaping all the benefits of great comedy, sage advice, and thoughtful world views. I recommend it to anyone with ears, and even those without. Wishing you all the best Jesse!
