Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high students must understand the power of nature as exemplified by this virus. He also present students an opportunity to contrast the pathways and skills development of two young woman for analysis.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students need to take in the goings-on in their environment (society), understand what’s going on, learn from what’s going on and master the soft skills they will need in order for them to adapt to their ever-changing society as it unfolds.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students need to think critically about what they witnessed as a protest march turned into a riot at our Capitol last week. They should use this preparation phase of their life-arc to develop skills that would allow them to adapt to our society in order that they prosper instead of riot, in order to feel whole.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school  students should be reminded of how much they had grown-up. He would encourage them to remember what they had come through this far in their life and that they have the skills and experience to respond to their current environment successfully.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students need to become aware of the real world results that can be achieved as a result of their efforts in school. He tells the story of one of their peers who solved a real world problem by using the hard and soft skills acquired from his mastery of algebra.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students need to take some time to reflect upon all the skills that they mastered by the time they were six-years-old and how they achieved the mastery of those skills.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students be reminded of the abundance of skills, both hard skills and soft skills, that they had mastered by the time they were six-years-old; skills that would be with them for a lifetime.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high students must continue strengthening their body, mind, and spirit by using the soft skills that they mastered as children to deal with remote learning as they continue to strengthen their body, mind, and spirit by mastering their coursework.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that teenagers’ lives have been severely disrupted by this virus. Despite this turmoil, teens must somehow form a self-identity as they follow their pathway into their future life.

Joe-Brown’s informed opinion is that high school students should take in the reality of how life changing this virus has become for them. He encourages them to make the necessary adaptations to their chosen pathway into their future life and not give up on their dream.
