The last ten days felt less like geopolitics and more like somebody spilled gasoline on the global economy and handed the media a flamethrower.

The Strait of Hormuz turned into the world’s most expensive traffic jam. Tankers stalled. Insurance rates exploded. Oil climbed. Meanwhile Americans stared at gas pumps like confused contestants on a game show nobody wanted to be on. The media screamed World War III every twelve minutes while markets continued doing what they always do. Convulsing violently, then pretending everything is fine thirty seconds later.

That’s the real story underneath all of this. Civilization runs on energy, logistics, and confidence. Right now all three are being stress tested at once.

And yet the middle class keeps grinding forward anyway. Going to work. Raising kids. Buying groceries. DCA’ing into stocks because deep down people understand something important.

Ownership beats panic.

Own the damn stock.
