In May of 2023 three guys working VO full time decided to join up and do an "Accountability Podcast" from their group meetings.  It grew into interviews and later adding their close friend Charles Coats as they became partners in building their businesses.  As things changed, 2 of the 4 had to take on other jobs to help keep the "lights on" so they could continue learning the business and in August of 2024 they did a Live Podcast (Jake, Charles and Troy) from Dallas at OVC not knowing that life would "get in the way" and it was the last.  Feeling they left things "undone" it was time to get back together for that one last group ZOOM call and talk about what DID change for them all and to even FURTHER show their paths are like YOUR PATHS.... totally different!  The ew successes have all 4 hitting on all cylinders and the connection is still as strong in this FINAL episode of ANOTHER VO PODCAST.  Join them quarterly when they join Troy on THE VO LIFE and even randomly one may pop in.  THEY ALL love the business and sharing... so it is not GOODBYE to VO but just this podcast... and someone said it... there are WAY too many podcasts anyway and theres just only so much you can talk about!THANKS FOR THE RIDE... and see you over on the VO LIFE!!

This week we throw spaghetti and see what sticks!  From rates to "things have changed this year" what sticks for you?

Summer is in full swing and we are all feeling the CRUNCH for time, family, work and more. Jake and Alden have settled into their new positions with VERY DIFFERENT outcomes... Charles and Troy and swinging for the fences still in there full time and so... how has the first half of the year gone and WHAT IS IN STORE for the GROUP OF FOUR?  Today we cover the first half, second half plans and all the changes we are dealing with as 2024 goes all "second half".  We also talk about OVC24 where three of us will be there and we hope to do some live recording for the podcasts.  Also repping the podcast at the One Voice Awards Show is Charles with 2 nominations and Troy with 6!  We hpe to see you there in DALLAS August 8-11!

Nothing to share about VO this week but a call to unity for our country as we celebrate our freedoms....

It came out awhile back and we touched on a few things here and there but today it's all about the NAVA survey. How many voice actors are there?  How many were sampled?  How accurate is this info??  Where do we fit? Where do YOU fit... and soon we will have three years of surveys to trend and see where the Covid Babies are... what? If you know you know.Have a question for us? Sometimew we have to educate the client.  Usage, studio time, etc.  Do you need a contract? A rider? What did YOU do when they tried to use your project a second time and not pay?  This and more from the Gang of 4!

Think about it. How you "approach" most anything can heavily make a difference in the outcome. A positive approach can lead to a more positive outcome. Dread the task, the task sucks. Marketing, auditioning, networking... all affected by attitude. It's not easy, but controlling your mood and approach will definitely help you sudition BETTER and marlet BETTER. Tune up that attitude for better results!  We talk about our struggles with this same thing in our everyday business.
