A six-week program dedicated to helping young readers and their families develop strong literacy skills will celebrate the young readers with a special graduation ceremony Saturday, May 9 from 6 - 7 p.m. at the TAMIU Student Center Theatre, room 236. Church’s Chicken, one of the world’s leading chicken chains, is tapping the TAMIU A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business students for internship opportunities within the corporation. Out of a pool of 10 nominees, Dr. Michael Kidd, assistant professor of biology, was named the 2014-2015 University Honors Program Faculty Member of the Year.
