A new chapter in Texas higher education is being co-authored by Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) and the Freer Independent School District (FISD) this Fall with the launch of an Early College High School (ECHS) for Freer High School students at TAMIU. More world-renowned musicians will be headed to TAMIU thanks to a $10,000 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Challenge America Grant. TAMIU A. R.
