"The Nutcracker" has come to town, bringing a time-honored holiday tradition in most other cities home to Laredo. Candidates for graduation will participate in Fall Commencement Exercises Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Kinesiology-Convocation Building. Three A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business (ARSSB) faculty members earned second place in “Best Research Paper Awards – Center of Outstanding Research” for work presented to leading experts in global business and economics at the annual conference of the International Academy of Business and Economics (IABE) in Las Vegas recently. This season of giving is shining a bright spotlight on a group of TAMIU student volunteers who recently traveled to Buda to provide care, hope and a weekend of much-needed rest to parents of children with disabilities. Four TAMIU students had an opportunity to travel and present research at the Western Regional Noyce Conference (WRNC) in San Francisco last month.
