Great podcast, except for Longevity episode. So out of character with the series.

Kara's guests are always top-notch experts in their field, and she seems to always come up with questions that get them sharing their expertise, then she lets them talk. This is an excellent format, and has brought me more interesting information than any other podcast I can remember. Highly recommended!

Finally a pod cast about the world we live in without extremism being the “hook.” Good work!

I love this show and I hope she continues to put out episodes regularly. It's a special place in the podcast world. Interesting topics that aren't brain rot and she asks very good intellectual questions. In a world full of hot takes this show prioritizes context and intellect. 5/5

I wish there were 100 episodes, great way to elevate research in public discourse. I’d love for Kara to ask each guest what they don’t know yet at the end of every episode to highlight guest humility and future research needs. Update: This billionaire episode had no research. It was just two people guessing at what billionaires think about. Very disappointing. I can get that episode anywhere. This show should have more rigor.

Thought provoking episode on marriage as luxury. Would you consider addressing the rise of singledom? Curious to see what the implications are for a society that is valuing marriage yet not recognizing that finding a partner is not easy plus also sometimes people prefer to remain single. There’s a huge chunk of the population that’s being ignored. Hoping you’ll address this, you’ve got a great interview style and your topics are fascinating.

Great interviews with eye opening research

I am going to keep it short and sweet... I love this podcast because: 1) It's content. It's different from so many. 2) The length. They are perfect for getting the info without eating up three hours of my time. 3) Kara is prepared and the podcast flows smoothly. If there is editing, it's done perfectly.

I love learning and this podcast has been a godsend. Kara does an amazing job of tackling subjects I “think” I know about and getting expert insights and research to make me reevaluate my own thinking on it. The episodes are well done and do a great job of presenting a broad perspective. Each episode I find I am challenged by some things, disagree with others, and agree with the rest. It’s exactly what you want if you want to grow intellectually and stay informed. Great job Kara!

No big words, not too many jargon - therefore easy to follow for non native speakers. The host has a great way of opening up a topic and then gently connecting it to other related ideas - thoughtful mix of economics and everyday social life, without feeling heavy. The guests are also very down to earth. Love it!

Great topics. I’ve already shared it with a few friends. Only advice is to please fact check before stating statistics or just don’t provide them at all.

This podcast is exploring ideas I’ve been wondering about…for example, why the systems I grew accustomed to are now falling apart.

This is the only podcast where I do not skip through half the fluff. Kara is balanced, direct, and able to get the most out of her guests and into the meat of some very complex topics. I look forward to every episode. Brava!

I am always looking for podcasts that broaden my knowledge and views. I really appreciate this podcast. I have listened to two of the episodes and they were so varied. I learned from both presenters and they pushed me to think differently. So pleased to have found this podcast!
