Pr. Todd Wilken is an excellent interviewer who asks thoughtful questions regardless of who the guest is. He and his staff choose knowledgeable guests who are well read into their subject matter so that they give valuable information. As a lifelong Lutheran, it always amazes me how engrossed I find myself getting into the content. You will as well! My only complaint is that I always run out of new episodes while riding the mower. Never fear, the archive always delivers. Well done!!! Keep up the good work! Keep engaging the people of God with this show.

Todd is a great interviewer, and his selection of guests are always knowledgeable in the particular field. He lets them talk with clear, direct questions. Its not a conversational podcast usually, and the style is unique in the podcast world.

This program Issues, etc. is much appreciated. Often times, we have questions and not knowing who's got the Biblical answer. We ought to know Christ crucified and as well as the topics this program educates, so that, we won't be fooled by what's telling us out there. This helps us grow Biblically and spiritually, a matured Christian.

This show helps and explains being a member of a Lutheran Missouri synod church. With all the podcasts out there this one speaks truth.

I was a frequent listener to the podcast but will be unfollowing now. I really don’t care to hear Lutherans bashing Roman Catholics and trans Christians.

The range of subjects covered is nothing less than living life itself. Wondering about a subject, type in and you’ll find a it or a related topic to explore and think on. I’m never disappointed.

Pastor Wilken is so good at interviewing his guests and asking questions that illuminate the entire discussion. It’s always Biblically sound and very informative. I highly recommend this podcast!

I don’t want to overstate how highly I view issues etc. but it is my sincere opinion that if they split off their culturally/political coverage into its own show, it would be it would be among the most influential cultural/political shows in the nation. As far as the religious topics are concerned, EVERY Christian should be listening. Of course it’s the best confessional Lutheran audio resource there is, but even for non Lutherans, this should be in your pod feed just as focus on the family. God Bless you all!

Issues Etc. is a great show for any Christian or person out that interested in Christianity. Todd W. does a really good job as the host asking questions for the guests on the show.

Pastor Wilken provides thought-provoking interviews and is able to express his questions and insights in a way that allows the guest to finish a complete thought. I have learned quite a bit about scripture and culture through this podcast.

While the show has good topics, the poor exegesis has convinced me to abandon Lutheranism for something less heterodox.

If you discount Terry Mattingly between the lines politcal innuendo or blatant anti-trump biased. I think his theory is because a lot of Christians prefer Trump. It pisses off the other Christians, so it creates a divide. usually don’t listen when he’s on. But I did today and he doesn’t disappoint just discount him all together it’s a great pod cast

I felt his review showed his own political bent. Someone who can wax poetic about the horrible movies coming out of Hollywood is apparently not a good candidate to review any Christian movie.

Wolfmueller sees the questions long before the show, and yet still hems, haws, and dances. Makes me embarrassed to be Missouri synod.

If I happen to miss the livestream, podcasts are available the very next day.

I dont listen to many podcasts I just dont have the time, BUT, I will make time for this one. Issues, ETC is chock full of biblical information and I cant afford to be without it. I keep this chirping in my ear during the week after Worship and Sacrament on Sunday to keep me filled and inspired until the next week. I also listen to Issues on KFUO radio that contains many more options for learning.

I listen to this podcast daily. It is the most enriching part of my day. Put your headphones on, walk the dog, jump in the car or clean the house…it is daily catechesis.

You will not find a better podcast and I listen to a lot. Christ Jesus is the Savior of the world, so nothing is of more importance than to hear Him discussed when you driving in your car, sitting at your desk at the office, or listening at home with your family. I know you will enjoy hearing faithful pastors discuss the Scriptures and the pressing topics of the day with clarity. Theology is life. Listen Issues Etc. then find a good, faithful Lutheran Church to attend. Go, hear, believe, and live!

Issues Etc. is, hands down, the best Christian talk podcast I have ever listened to. They are not afraid to tackle difficult subjects, hear from posing views, but most importantly, they are Cross focused and Christ centered.

Pastor Wilken presents thoughtful and sometimes surprising responses to issues that Christians face. Francis Schaffer asked “How Then Shall We Live”? Issues, Etc replies: “Christ-centered and cross-focused”. Listening, showing mercy, loving our neighbors, and confessing the truth as we study scripture and live in this world. I really appreciate the variety of topics and guests on this podcast! Thank you, everyone at Issues, Etc for all the work you do!
