The pandemic created unique problems for many pet owners, often having to surrender cherished pets due to loss of a job or housing. The Roice-Hurst Humane Society is a national leader in fully supporting both pets and the humans that care for them. Anna Stout, CAWA and CEO of Roice-Hurst discussed their motto �More Than A Shelter� and how they are helping the community. RHHS was one of the first shelters in the country to hire a social worker to help with the human side of pet ownership.
