JC Groves on Christian Unity
JC Groves is the College and Student Pastor at the Connection Church in Statesboro, Georgia. He is also a husband and a father of six children. JC co-hosts for The Recovering Fundumentalist podcast, one of the fastest growing Christian podcasts in the nation. In this episode, Andrew talks with JC about how their podcast focuses on encouraging Christians and pastors to stay faithful to Christ and God’s Word, not to man-made rules and legalism. Andrew also asks JC how we as Christians can still love each other through disagreement. “I think the biggest thing sometimes is to not say anything,” JC said. “You don’t have to give an answer to everybody.” JC explains that many times Christians easily respond wrongly to fellow Christians instead of responding with the love of Christ. “If you’re spiritually dry, your response is going to be spiritually dry,” JC said. “If you’re spiritually filled up, you’re going to speak with grace seasoned with salt.”You can listen to the full discussion on the Is There a Cause Podcast.
