I was born in South bend, my Grandfather was the press box usher for 30 years his brother worked gate C. I am A Huge Fan of the Irish and fortunate enough to recognize Notre Dame men ,this is there pod cast. Thank you for your time.

Is there a school doing it better right now at playing within themselves than ND in the portal? They have really had success and accelerated in landing high floor UDFA/Day 3 NFL types like a Javonte Jean Baptiste, Thomas Harper, Beaux Collins, even really good kickers and punters that know they might need that Masters degree. That on top of prioritizing QB from the jump and retaining players for an extra year. The bidding wars for disgruntled freshman are fun but the bottom can really fall out elsewhere (LSU CBs) that I just don’t see happening the way Freeman is attacking it.

I’ve tried a lot and this is the best.

These guys are balanced and thorough. My absolute favorite Irish podcast.

Prister, O’Malley and Sampson are terrific hosts and offer timely news and thoughtful opinions. And unlike a lot of ND podcasts I listen to, they keep the show moving and don’t gratuitously repeat and restate each others thoughts.

I always enjoy this show - detailed, articulate and professional. Regarding USC vs ND. I wonder if some of the players were infected from their BC game. I heard the flu bug had hit Boston College the prior week. I feel run down and sluggish just before I get sick.

These guys, all three of them, are remarkably articulate and highly knowledgeable. They do their homework and they are not “homers”. I’m a USC grad and fan and I was thoroughly entertained and educated by their pregame comments just prior to SC game.

Tim P is the master. His knowledge is incredible and have followed his stuff since 90. Pete and Tim make it the best podcast

Thank you for offering incisive, clear and concise commentary on UND football. There are a lot of options out there. I find other options weak: too amateur, too reactive, too know it all, and too verbose. You three offer various opinions in a respectful (mutually) way. Simply the best… I come away knowing more even as you pose new questions.

No better Notre Dame pod than Irish illustrated

Definitely the best collection of best writers and insiders for ND sports without the blatant homerism.

But they constantly review that the other team will not show up and ND will destroy them . It happened numerous times this year and ND Wins but certainly not they way all 3 predict . These guys are the best . No doubt about it

Any chance Tim Prister could be removed from the show? The other two guys commentary, knowledge and analysis of ND football is amazing. Tim Prister always wants to be the front man of the show offering his opinions and in reality he’s dragging the show down.

This is the gold standard for Notre Dame podcasts. All the hosts are great and informative and always have a great discussion about all things ND.

No way unless you think P&S know more than the coaches and players.

Any Irish fan should be subscribed to this pod. It’s usually on twice a week. O’Malley is a absolute gem. Prister has a wealth of knowledge and calls it like it is (which is obv not the norm) Sampson has stayed on and the dynamic works well. My only request would be that I’d like to have more guest speakers on the pod.

I travel so I listed to most of the ND Football Podcasts. The Irish Illustrated Podcast is best in class. Solid insight, well formed opinions delivered in an entertaining and succinct manor. I am glad Pete remains with the podcast - enjoy his perspective.

O’Malley and Prister are both knowledgeable and express themselves well with insight. They are very good at what they do. This comment is purely aesthetic or procedural. Fix the camera angle on your videos such as instant analysis. Camera angle from below is the worst and looks second rate. Should be no lower than eye level. Second, up the wardrobe. No more T-shirts. Loud plaids. (Or any plaids). Look the part.

My favorite podcast and I listen to many! Perfect amount of time (not too long or too short) and very professionally done as the guys are well prepared including with fan questions (most podcasts wing it....not these guys)! Very informative and just excellent all around.

This is the most entertaining Irish football podcast. The guys have great camaraderie and I’m glad Pete has stayed on to do this despite his move to the Athletic. I hope he continues to do this pod as it introduced me to his new pod which is also great. Keep up the great work!

Tim, Tim, and Pete are the best in the business in print and conversation. Their format allows for a succinct review of topics with their opinions meshing, even when not agreeing, for an enjoyable discussion. Go Irish, thanks for all the hard work!

Hearing lots of comments about how this or that team lost 5 or 6 or whatever games by a touchdown or less last year. Really, don’t most teams with a losing record each year lose 3-4-5 games by a touchdown or less? Go Irish! ☘️🏈

Best ND football, and a little basketball, podcast. Seem to be the most insightful. Even with 2 shows a week during the season, I could go for more.

Been listening and (at times) interacting w/ Tim, Tim and Pete for years. This is appointment podcasting. Really thought i rated this years ago. As for the content, these gentlemen are as reliable, credible, measured and informed as anyone on the beat. ...they’ll throw a bucket of cold water on you if youre too drunk. And i’m glad for them

The audio on this Podcast is miserable.

Good podcast for ND football: informative, concise, very easy to listen to. However, they can be too negative esp. Tim Prister, towards certain players and ND team in general. Being objective is imp, but they go too far the other direction too often. I want to be excited for games, not told all the reasons they will lose...

I have been listening to these guys on whatever platform they end up on. I feel like I am getting the best most up to date information on my favorite team. They have a casual friendly style that makes you feel like you are listening to a couple of buddies debate what is going on from a week to week outlook. They come across as people that like when Notre Dame wins without being complete homers.

Can’t thank you guys enough for the year round coverage and insight. This is a must listen for me every week! Go Irish! ☘️

A must listen for any Notre Dame fan as you get three hosts from the beat delivering insightful commentary on the team delivered in easy-to-digest sub-hour episodes. It’s incredible the amount of content that is put into this tight package.

It's the most listenable Notre Dame podcast with the most likable/respectable crew of experienced football reporters. I look forward to it every week! However... The organization of the episodes listing on Apple's podcasts software for iPhone is hopeless. If a listener misses one episode, or wants to relisten, finding any recent episode in the "Available Episodes" list requires scrolling through past years and takes too long. There is no decent reason I can think of for this - and it makes the whole enterprise look silly/odd. Why not get a 15-year-old budding programmer to look at the code for how your episodes are catalogued?!? S/he will see and fix the problem in a couple of minutes!

Love the podcast! Never miss it! Only constructive feedback: O’Malley’s mic is turned up way louder than Prister’s and Sampson’s. Killing my ears, man, but love the insights.
