The word control has different meanings. When used as a noun, it's the power to influence or direct peoples behavior or course of events. As a verb, it means to determine the behavior of something or supervisor the running of something. 
Emotional and mental abuse involves a person acting in a way to control, isolate or scare someone else.

Invisible Scars Episode 7: Do we have to let in linger??

This is my journey of breaking through the clouds and healing the scars of mental and verbal abuse.  Like a caterpillar who breaks free of the cocoon and transforms into a butterfly you will hear my story that began with love and moved through all of the phases of heart ache, abuse and manipulation until I emerged on the other side as a beautiful butterfly using her wings to spread awareness, self-worth , and confidence to everyone she touches.
