Yes, that’s right. I’m starting a new podcast.
Here we go again.
But this introductory episode will tell you why my first podcast attempt failed, why I’m trying again, and how this one will be different.
The name is inspired by a quote from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
It will be writings and perspectives about things like wisdom, beauty, courage, creativity, joy, and other things I classify as Invisible Essentials… things necessary for our souls, but not quite tangible.
You know, I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly I’m talking about whenever I write or make a video.
The other podcast I had, called The Break/ing, I said that space would be all about creativity… but it never felt like that was completely true.
People who listened to the podcast gave me feedback, or even left reviews saying it wasn’t only about creativity or for creatives, it was about LIFE. People would message me with questions that were existential rather than creative in nature.
So I kept digging.
Listen to the introductory episode to hear more of why the tagline is “Nourishment for the Soul’s Pilgrimage”, and how I plan to move forward with videos, which I still plan to make…I’m just prioritizing writing and talking to you in the easiest most sustainable way possible.
