This is a rant on things that have been on my mind the last few weeks. This episode was hard to get started. I was nervous and got more comfortable about two thirds into it. I can spend a lot of time by myself and I am completely ok with that. I even crave being by myself. I used to feel guilty for wanting to be alone. I understand myself better now and there's no guilt. I have this weird thing I don't understand well. I feel guilty for being sick. My health took a dive the last 2 months. I pushed myself hard to keep working on my business and podcast. Eventually I had to stop to rest and get help. I have a hard time saying what is wrong sometimes I don't even tell my doctor. But this time it was different. I told my doctor everything...I am getting help. I am even going to get counselingAbout this podcast:I was afraid to be myself for years. "What makes you different is your power" JeffI met Jeff and Tommy at the 2018 #OREIA convention in Cincinnati (a real estate investors event) Jeff and I connected because we both relate to having some social anxiety of large crowds and events. This is Jeff's story. Some years ago my wrists started hurting when I typed on my computer. I ignored the pain like any other Macho man. That was stupid and after a few years of not taking this serious, the pain was horrible and 24/7. I spent years seeing doctors, therapists, surgery and doing alternative medicines searching for a cure. And I didn't know exactly what was wrong!? The pain started in my wrists and after many years it spread to my forearms, hands, back, neck, feet! I am still not 100% sure what this is. After many tests and doctors, I was give many diagnosis. It may be Carpal Tunnel, repetitive stress, tendonitis, spine issues or my mind. Reading books like “It’s Not carpal Tunnel Syndrome” by Suparna Damany, physical therapy, rest, exercise, posture and meditation helped me. I am now able to manage the pain and I believe I will heal myself with time. 10/24/25 update: After years navigating this messy health stuff, reading, learning and experimenting with exercise, meditation, counseling i feel around 90% better. I manage the little pain i sometimes get and it rarely limits me now. It would be hard to believe it if i could read this update years ago. Thank you to old, young me for not giving up. I love you or me lol.Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links and I receive a commission if you visit a link and buy something on my recommendation. I had some misunderstandings about introverts. I thought I was an introvert but really what does that mean? I thought I was stuck! I am not just an introvert its way more complicted. We screw up all the time. I used to be too critical of myself for messing up. If I did something stupid I would criticize myself harshly. Its ok to mess up Thank you AJ and Christian at the Borderline Idealist podcast for inspiring me to continue recording! About this podcast:I was afraid to be myself for years.
