Great Concept, Dragged Down by a Tired Ego
This podcast could’ve worked—Jason Charles Miller brings charm, insight, and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to keep listening. Unfortunately, his cohost, Kim Horcher, is the anchor that sinks the ship. Her presence feels like a desperate attempt to stay relevant, clinging to past credentials she constantly name-drops but rarely lives up to. In the gaming and geek community, she’s widely known—and not in a good way. Her commentary is often shallow, her delivery awkward, and there’s a palpable sense of narcissism, as if she’s completely unaware of her lack of appeal. What once passed for edgy “mean girl” energy now just reads as bitter and insecure. It’s clear that whatever novelty she brought in her early career has long faded, and now we’re left with a tired persona trying too hard to matter. Honestly, I feel bad for Jason—he deserves a cohost who elevates the show, not one who hijacks it.

Off to a superb start!
So glad the 1st episode was about WWDITS, and they did it without giving me brain scramblies! Can hardly wait to see what they cover in their 1st episode! 🤪
