I wanted to like this, but there’s a difference in appreciating a guilty pleasure and just plain hating on something. This is basically equivalent to a Twitter thread of Marvel fanboys ranting about how Twilight ruined cinema forever. Feels like something where once they’re older they may be willing to admit that they cared more about sounding cool than just owning that it’s okay to have fun with less than prestige material.

I have been listening to this podcast for years now and it is a huge part of my weekly routine. I look forward to every Monday, especially now since they’re doing TVD (YESSSSS!!!!). It’s like catching up with friends every single time and I am so grateful for the joy this podcast brings me. Get bit!!! I just started this podcast from the beginning a few days ago after it was recommended to me. I am ADDICTED! I’m a diehard Twilight fan and I’m crying laughing at every episode. I’m so excited to hear the rest and to hear the 50 shades commentary!

I love Into the Twilight, founders of the Twilight Renaissance. I was worried once they finished the Twilight series I’d fall off of listening, as that’s happened for me previously with other podcasts, but I have loved every phase of the podcast. Cody and Ally have a great dynamic and carry the listener through every bizarre, concerning thing that happens. I haven’t read/watched along, but it’s still followable and fun.

This is my favorite podcast right now, I’ve been listening for a few months and just started over from ep 1! You guys are so funny. Every week I look forward to a new episode coming out, you guys are one of my main sources of serotonin, I love the happy thing part of the episodes and it always makes me smile and laugh! 💓

I love this pod I am on ep 55 and I keep meaning to review and then as soon as the ep ends I forget so I am listening while reviewing. This podcast is fantastic and I wish it had been around when I was first obsessed with twilight. Although I am still stoked that this podcast exists now. i may be only on episode 60ish but i am not a fake fan!! here’s your review!! i started listening about a month ago and let me TELL YOU what a trip it is listening in 2021 to y’all talk about the world being on fire in the 2016-2018 episodes...cause like the world is actually on fire now, it’s v trippy and v funny (funny as in haha i have to laugh or i might cry, ya know?) i’m a massage therapist and i get through the long hours of spa music and snoring by listening to these two hilarious humans dive into the dumpster fire that is the twilight saga (and apparently the 50 shades series but y’all haven’t finished breaking dawn yet from where i’m at, i’ll get there.) i truly have to hold in my cackling while working, but along with being a funny podcast, cody and ally are two very real and very genuine people who also tackle the problematic themes in the books, while still keeping it sassy. as a queer non-binary gremlin, i love how inclusive y’all are towards all walks of life, and i really appreciate how y’all don’t shy away from difficult topics. anyways, this turned out to be way longer than i intended. if you like twilight, this is the podcast for you. if you don’t like twilight, but enjoy a good dumpster fire, this podcast is still for you. if you don’t like twilight or dumpster fires but enjoy some witty and hilarious banter, this podcast is for you. basically listen to this podcast, okay?! keep up the great work y’all, i’m so happy to have literal years to catch up on, i’ll be up to date eventually, but until then- GET BIT( ˘ ³˘)♥︎ ♥︎liv

I love this podcast and it makes me laugh. I’m currently on episode 41. I enjoy getting to listen to people talk about Twilight because it is not something I want to discuss in my actual life for the fear of judgement by my friends and family which would probably be justified as I am now a 30 year old woman and this is a teenage vampire romance. Thanks to this podcast for filling a void nobody was actually asking for out loud but probably because it was too embarrassing to request.

Just truly amazing. I've been working my way through all the old episodes while staying current with the new ones and it has honestly been one of the most consistently funny and honest shows since a it's inception. Well done!

I’m 25 years old found y’all on TikTok and I laughed every time. I’m on episode 40 Reliving middle school/ high school me. These books got me into reading, asked for them for Christmas and my birthday. The Twilight series is how my friends and I bonded. I hated New Moon, my favorite was Eclipse. I’m still waiting for updates on my favorite Twilight fanfics. These ladies are great and funny, they get me through 8 hour work days. They laugh loud and the background noises are a bit distracting, but this isn’t ASMR. They go into so many tangents and it’s like they forget they made this podcast about Twilight. I really want to know how they “met “ as far as I’ve heard they haven’t physically met in real person, but it seems like they have known each other for years. They make me want to learn more about astrological charts all I know is that I’m a Capricorn. I love this podcast so much !!! I’m learning so much about the world around me .

Twilight talk usually starts around 15 minutes into the episode, before that is mostly chit chat. Audio quality is also not the best.

Ally and Cody are the main reasons I'm enjoying getting up these days because I just started the podcast a week and a half ago and am on episode 25. The joy of reliving this franchise that defined my personality in 9th grade with a loving but critical lens, while hearing the banana bread anecdotes from their lives sprinkled on, is unparalleled in the making my ears happy department. They are such a delight, my only reservation is that I'll be caught up by the end of the year at this rate and I don't want this joy to end. I may just have to start over when the time comes because this fills a void I didn't know I had. Listen. LISTEN!!! I love this podcast!!! I came across you two fine content creators on tiktok but tell me why is took me months to actually start listening to the actual podcast?! I started about 2 weeks ago I am on episode 52 and it’s all I need in my life right now. It’s honestly all I listen to at work and In my car I will be sad when I am caught up cause it means I will have to wait for the next episode.

I don’t laugh out loud at podcasts easily but I am always cackling with these fine folk. I am relistening to the entire thing again now that I have regressed into my latest twilight phase and it feels like coming home.

I have since finished the Twilight chapter then skipped ahead to the midnight sun chapter! Caught up with Midnight Sun chapters and have gone back to the New Moon chapters. It’s Friday y’all! I listen to episodes while I’m working, eating! All my spare time! I am obsessed! This podcast perfectly balances humor and astute brutally necessary critiques and analysis! They have bits that they do at the end of every episode and it’s worth it to listen to every minute! I came here from TikTok. This is very funny and enjoyable. I read Twilight as a teenager even before the huge fandom rose up Bc I’ve always been obsessed with vampire romances. The podcast is fun and funny, and I enjoy listening to them dissect it. However I do have a bit of a bone to pick. I’m only on episode 14 so maybe in the future this changes, but I kind of hate the way they mock fanfiction. Mock the professional published author all you want, but trying to humiliate people who write for fun, in earnest? Kinda gross. Definitely a good time and worth the listen, but perhaps a bit of sensitivity for people who are probably whole entire children posting their stories.

You snatched me off your tiktok. I’m on episode 25, but I missed the twilight craze because I was a Harry Potter pick me girl growing up. I found this really enjoyable and I’ve loved doing this deep dive with you two. I feel like I’m hanging out chatting with pals. I might even read the books myself at some point. In the beginning I really thought Ally sounded a lot like Anna Kendrick and I was convinced it was ‘Jessica’ reviewing the series. Love to see LGBTQIA+ rep in here and I live for your commentary. How HOW does this podcast have less then 100 ratings??? This is ART!!! I have binged every single episode over the past week and a half like an absolute crazy person and it’s so funny and amazing. I was super into twilight as a wee middle schooler and I have fallen back into the obsession. Absolutely recommend this podcast to any closeted twihards taking in the renaissance.

I loved twilight as a teenager. Now as a full fledged adult I love them but know they are hella problematic, what thease two wonderful people have created is a space to love and hate twilight at the same time. So glad to have found it keep it up and I hope we get life and death, Bree tanner and many more fan fictions to come.

Read the books back when they came out and I reread them every so often. This is what I need in between reads hahaha

This podcast is amazingly hilarious. Listening to it you’ll feel like your laughing with friends over the wild pop cultural phenomenon that is twilight. Not only is their analysis of the books and films funny but also the headcanons they develop for the series are equally if not more funny. Highly recommend.

Literally?? Literally I listen to this podcast every night at work and it never gets old or boring and I never get tired of Dracula 1 and Dracula 2. I’m so glad someone recommended this podcast to me because it’s a god send.

This podcast is honestly everything I’ve ever wanted in a 60 hour long twilight review. I enjoy so much the absolute destroying of Stephanie Meyer’s writing by Ally and Cory, and the jokes and commentary are absolutely golden and so entertaining. These girls are so great and woke and fun!!!!! when i see funny twilight things i want to show them because i feel like we’re friends now or something. If you simultaneously love and hate twilight like I do, then you have to listen to this. #getbit

This podcast has taken me back to my middle school years, where all I knew was I wanted to move to Forks and Team Edward over everyone else. I was so...embarrassing. Oh boy how times have changed for me, but listening to them dissect and just drag these books at some points is HILARIOUS. Their commentary is A+. A great pod, took me down memory lane and refreshed the disgust I felt reading this dead pidgeon of a series. I am so glad I point-blank refused to watch any of the twilight movies when they came out. Listening to the recaps, seems like the only thing I missed was KStew’s lovely face. Definately give this one a try—both of them having difficulty breathing due to laughter is highly amusing.

I've spent the past few weeks going through the entire backlog of episodes to catch up, and it has been so beyond worth it. The premise of the show is actual gold, the discourse (tm) is insightful, and I find myself consistently wishing the hosts were my friends. It's an absolute must listen for people who grew up in the time of Twilight mania!

What to say about ITT? It changed me, in a way I thought only vampire venom could. It allowed me to process the shame and guilt I’ve hidden for years as a twi hard hoe, for what it is, an experience to learn from. Truly the AA of bad teen romance fiction, a safe place to say “my name is Carissa and I love twilight. Please help me”. Ally and Cody navigate you through the levels of twilight recovery, allowing you to heal from the internalized misogyny and bad writing you used to love. Eventually you arrive at a place of closure, laughter and acceptance. All I really have to say, is thank you.

Never thought I needed a podcast that fostered Twilight Saga discourse, but Into the Twilight takes me back to the mid-aughts to when I was binge reading the books in high school coupled with a critical lens on all things problematic with the series. Cody and Allie, the hosts, are a joy to listen to through their discussions of the chapters of the week, non-Twilight tangents, Twilight news, and banter.
