Stupid means slow to comprehend. The soul focused on the world is not focused on God rendering it stupid.

The proud soul keeps us ignorant, unrepentant and wretched. We must work to abolish pride. With less pride it's easier for us to see what we owe to God and to implore His mercy.

There are billions of people today that don't embrace the truth. Don't be one of them. Instead take advantage of the opportunities God gives you.

The character of the soul is made pure through friendship with God.

Until you mature in the Lord, the soul is easily misled by this world.

The fearful soul leads to wickedness.

Self knowledge is essential to draw the soul towards repentance.

The sinful soul is not virtuous.

The soul turned to God becomes the mystical soul.

All that the beginner in prayer has to do, is to labor and be resolute and prepare himself with all possible diligence to bring his will into conformity with the will of God.
