La nicaragüense Scarlett Rincón @sdrinconllegó muy jovencita a los Estados Unidos debido a una decisión familiar. Su primer destino fue la ciudad de Washington DC, donde creció y estudió programación de computadoras.    En el año 2001 decidió mudarse a la Florida y pasó 15 años de su vida siendo mamá a tiempo completo y ama de casa. Pero vino un despertar en su corazón, quiso emprender y trabajar de nuevo; sentirse productiva y crecer económicamente.   Hoy es dueña de su empresa M&R Realty Associates, LLC, con la cual construye casas y desarrolla proyectos a deseo de sus clientes. Her first destination was Washington, DC, where she grew up and studied Computer Programming.   In 2001 she decided to move to Florida and spent 15 years as a full-time stay-at-home mom. However, her heart was awakened, and she wanted to be an entrepreneur and return to work; she wanted to feel productive and financially secure.   Today she owns her company M&R Realty Associates, LLC, building homes and developing projects according to her client's requirements. Be yourself as you are, give yourself the freedom to do what you like the most, and demonstrate that you can be happy with who you are and what you have.   Margarita is a journalist and an activist for women's human rights. She also dedicates part of her time to taking care of seniors and learning from that wisdom so unique to the sunset of life. Es miembro activo de diversas organizaciones, ha obtenido cinco premios Emmy de un total de 15 nominaciones.   ----   #224 - Mercedes Soler: News is her passion   With more than 25 years in the world of communications and vast experience in television and radio programs in both Univision and CNN en Español, Cuban journalist Mercedes Soler @msolertv opens her heart and shares with us her life as a successful immigrant in this country.    Mercedes has anchored newscasts, and women's morning magazines, interviewed presidents of various Latin American nations, reported events such as the 9/11 terrorist attack, lived the news up close and continues to be sensitive to events involving Hispanics in the U.S.    She is currently the Co-Founder and President of her radio and digital media company SolMart Media, from where she informs, educates, and entertains an audience that reaches nine counties in the state of Florida. Lo que comenzó como un año sabático de aventuras para la costarricense Cinthya Bonilla @cinthyaskin.body se convirtió en la puerta de una vida que no imaginaba. "Me vine con una beca para estudiar Hospitalidad y una cosa fue llevando a la otra".   Hace 8 años, decidió embarcarse al mundo del emprendimiento y hoy es propietaria de un exitoso spa de masajes terapéuticos y estética en Sarasota, Florida. Es feliz con su esposo y pequeña hija y está inmensamente agradecida con este país que le mostró una ruta hacia la realización.   Cinthya nos cuenta su historia de inspiración, la cual ha estado cimentada en la disciplina, la estrategia y la pasión por lo que hace.

Con amplia experiencia en desarrollo de negocios, operaciones y marketing en América Latina, Europa, Asia y Estados Unidos, la guatemalteca Lindamaria Ortega @fralinor nos cuenta cómo ha sido su proceso de crecimiento y consolidación profesional en este país.   Su experiencia como inmigrante comenzó en España y luego en los Estados Unidos cuando fue trasladada como trabajadora ejecutiva de una fundación española.  En Estados Unidos tiene la posibilidad de colaborar con MET  Community, una organización internacional que se dedica a trabajar el emprendimiento con mujeres y a fortalecer el desarrollo económico y social.  También fundó una organización sin fines de lucro llamada Red and Green Connections, con la misión fundamental de promover artistas emergentes latinoamericanos. Actualmente trabaja en Florida International University, en un proyecto para formar, sensibilizar y conectar organizaciones de servicio público y sin fines de lucro. Además cursa un Doctorado en Administración y Políticas Públicas.     ------   #222 - Lindamaria Ortega: Social Responsibility with Creativity   With vast experience in business development, operations and marketing in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the United States, Guatemalan Lindamaria Ortega, @fralinor, shares with us her professional growth and career strengthening process in this country.   Her experience as an immigrant began in Spain and then in the United States when she was transferred to work as an executive worker for a Spanish foundation.   In the United States she has collaborated with MET Community, an international organization dedicated to working with women's entrepreneurship and strengthening economic and social development.  She also founded a non-profit organization called Red and Green Connections, with the mission of promoting emerging Latin American artists.   She is currently working at Florida International University on a project to train, raise awareness and connect public service and non-profit organizations. Carmen is a wife and a mom. Part of her heart still beats in Venezuela, but she knew that her future would offer better opportunities in another country. Hence, she came to the United States in 2018, pursued a Paralegal Degree at Emory University, and now runs her firm U.S-VEN Services, INC. "It fulfills my soul to help others; the calling to serve is part of me. Ha sido madre soltera, con muchos desafíos familiares que superar. Pero se ha hecho fuerte para seguir adelante, sacar a su gente de las crisis que la han tumbado y surgir desde el oficio que le encanta hacer. Es también escritora, talento que descubrió en tiempos de pandemia en el 2020 cuando el mundo parecía paralizarse ante un virus que contagió a prácticamente toda la humanidad.
