A Journey Worth Joining
Matthew Le’s hit series Insight from the Outside details ways to better oneself’s work life and transform one’s perspective through Matthew’s signature philosophical insights.
This series provides a unique experience that puts one at ease and truly soothes the soul through its intriguing topic explorations and Matthew’s grabbing voice. Moreover, the shorter five-minute format makes this specific podcast one of the most convenient one’s to listen to. While most podcast record multi-hour conversations which are barley planned, making them lack depth and meaningful ideas, Matthew’s podcasts gives the viewer an optimistic ideology about life in order to improve themselves in a concise method.
Although I do complement the podcast’s concise format, it does lack an important elemental that holds the podcast back—anecdotal evidence. People love stories; most podcasts I have listed to which detail life advice include insight, as Matthew’s does, but also adds character and credibility to their logic through evidence provided by either their own life, a book, an ancient philosopher, or another medium. I believe this would add some much needed character to the podcast and deepen the level of discussion of the podcast’s topic.
Even with the podcast’s faults, the podcast’s upbringing has produced a thought-provoking experience that causes one to rethink their perspective and, more importantly, has given fruition to its namesake—Insight from the outside.
