Have you ever stopped to think about what you're thinking about?

Seriously.

Those thoughts that fill up your mind are not just fluttering butterflies passing by. They're actually bees who are looking for a flower on which to latch themselves to. Some are good and some are bad.

If we're not careful, we can catch bad thoughts and allow them to take root in our minds, thus becoming our entire personality. Because our brains are malleable, constantly growing and acquiring new knowledge, we can inadvertently teach our brains to actively work against us.

But the good news is, we a can also shape our brains in to resilient muscles that can withstand pressure and weight. We can allow positive, encouraging and motivating thoughts to dig deep roots in our brains which can push us to new heights that we couldn't have dreams were possible.

So, let me ask you again, have you ever stopped to think about what you're thinking about? Because your future depends on it.

In this episode, we're stepping into a new series called You're Lying to Yourself where we will dismantle the most common lies we tell outselves week by week.

We'll set the stage by discussing how the brain can become our greatest ally or our biggest adversary. And we'll highlight the importance of taking some mental inventory regulary.

Ready for it? Hit that play button.
