If you're tired of going in circles, starting over every year, and you're frustrated and know that the number one thing in your way is you... I suggest you listen to this
Too long to listen?
Mistake # 1
You want short term wins, you have poor impulse control, and will justify cashing out early in exchange for the hit of dopamine you get instead of playing the long game
Mistake # 2
You are too focused on the outcome (1 year goal example). You don't have process goals, or focus on maintaining high standards for yourself and strong boundaries
Mistake # 3
You listen to the imposter... the voice in your head saying "not good enough" or "you can relax..."
We're kicking off 2024 with a BANG that will likely be the most valuable use of your time and attention IF you want 2024 to be different. If you want 2024 to be the "HOLY SHIT... I DID THAT?!" year...

Matt Joins the show once again, this time recorded live from his home in Austin TX
I invited Matt back on here for a 3rd time, because in the last year I've had the pleasure of observing his personal development and business development as he went up against his own fears and weaknesses.
Like me, Matt believes in simplification. While we have different approaches, the core of what we both want is to help coaches professionalize and earn a respectably high income for their work.
I think you'll appreciate the conversations we get to have.
Matt shares his insights on the difference between a good coach and a good marketer, the fear of failure and investing in oneself, and falling in love with the process instead of the outcome. We delve into the CEO role and operating as a business and a family, planning the next phase of business, and living in the moment.

I want to help tune your frequency to that of a Leader. This exercise is called The Leadership Frequency Primer.
You can do it anytime, at any scale. For this first one I invite you to slow down and give yourself some space.
If you'd like to skip right to the 12 Minute primer, skip to about the 9:30 mark.
Here it is...
Part 1
Find yourself a quiet place. Make sure you bring your journal, and a pen.
When you're ready. Close your eyes.
With your eyes closed, slow your breathing.
Observe, the sounds, smells, and feelings you have.
At least 3 of each. Say out loud to yourself.
"I hear the buzzing of bees" "I hear the ticket of the clock" "I smell the salt in the water" "I feel the breeze against my arms"... and so on.
Once complete. Open your eyes, and take a moment to observe what you see (that isn't something of yours). Say out loud...
"I see cars" "I see flowers" etc... At least three things.
Now shift your attention to yourself, and notice what you have with you. Your car keys, your pen, your clothing. Pause on these. And for a moment, go back to the time you first received these items. Maybe you purchased them. Maybe they were a gift.
And in that moment, you can smile, with appreciation.
Receive one last breath.
Part 2
In your journal, begin to write.
Reflect first on the present. You can write a story or a list of all of the tools you have that you use on a daily basis, and that you use to help your clients. Perhaps thats your knowledge of breathwork, or story work. Maybe it's a morning routine you've established. It could be your discipline. Your sense of appreciation. Your focus. Your habits. Or something physical that you own.
All of these solve a problem that you once had, and no longer have, or at least you know exactly how to handle these problems now, and these are the magic secret formulas you share with your clients now.
Now shift to the past
Remembering when you first learned or came across these tools. Who were you? What was your experience like?
List or write the story of the problems you once had, before you acquired these tools or skills.
Perhaps you had physical pain, or an injury. Maybe you felt depressed or anxious. Maybe you were in a bad relationship. Or maybe you didn't know how to communicate something, and you learned how.
Any problem that you once had. List or write the story.
Now
You have a list of your tools, your magic solutions that you can now pass on to others.
You also have a list of the exact problems you used to experience that you have "solved for."
====
Repeat these statements out loud, and receive a full breath after each one
I am a leader
I lead my clients well
I have a long history of success
I am the authority
I create results
====
This is your Leaderhips Frequency. How do you feel?
Revisit anytime you'd like. And arrive to your work from this place.
Enjoy.
See you soon, you beautiful inspiring leaders <3
