I miss it!

Love ya. Wish, sincerely, that the episode descriptions did not mostly start with “hello closeteers.” It’s kind, but, if the first few words of the description were the name of whom you are interviewing, it would be super helpful. Many of us are driving and trying to select a podcast episode quickly yet we have to open up each episode just to discern who is on the pod. Hot tip.

I always feel like I’m on the phone with friends while listening. I think I missed their break up. Old episodes are worth listening to if they decide to not come back.

Matteo is my new obsession!

Matteo is funny on his own but Emma needs a script. She’s just not funny or interesting. All they talk about are their bodies and looks over and over and over. There is no real substance or comedy to listen to. It’s just boring superficial, narcissistic crap.

I love these two so much. Their banter gets my mind off everything happening around me most days, I don’t even care if they don’t read any listener emails lol. Came over from Secret Keepers Club and I’m actually learning so much about the LGBTQ+ community without being embarrassed to ask. So insightful and I laugh out loud

And for your eyes - if you are into extremely sexy Italian/Mexican flavored men! But hold up, congregation, we ain’t spreading the gay agenda today. I found about about Matteo from The Juice podcast with Solomon Georgio! And boy oh boy, what a nice treat. Now I’m here! And it feels great.

I love this pod! I discovered it a couple weeks ago, but have been binge-listening all the old episodes. Sometimes they’re so funny that I’m just laughing to myself at my desk at work and sometimes they just talk about relatable and real stories. Either way, it’s never boring. Also, screw all the Emma-haters in the reviews. I think she’s delightful and funny! Some people have clearly never interacted with someone who has ADD/ ADHD. My dad’s way of conversation and interacting are very similar to Emma, so maybe I’m just used to it, but it’s just not really that hard to have a little bit of patience as a listener. Also, I’m going to see Matteo in September and I’m so excited! :)

Was incredible! Please start a segment were you argue about pop stars, that last portion of the pod made me SO happy.

If I had one wish for this podcast it would be for Emma to acquire some discernment. Discernment to know that when other people are talking, it’s time for her to close her mouth. Discernment to know when her story is actually interesting enough to share. Discernment to know when to talk LOUDly and when to modulate her voice. If Mateo went solo with different weekly guests, or got another (better) cohost; I firmly believe this podcast would be a top ten comedy podcast.

This podcast would be so much more enjoyable if the female co-host learned to take a social quest and stop interrupting her co-host and guests while they talk. She’s absolutely insufferable. Matteo would be much better doing this alone and bringing guest co-hosts aboard or just interviewing guests himself. It’s hard to follow a story when it gets interrupted 20x.

The same stories and jokes repeated over and over. I cannot handle listening to sex robots anymore. Please give them direction and specific time frames. They are all over the place.

It’s a funny show and there were moments I laughed a lot, but I can’t get over the hosts talking over each other. It’s almost like they’re fighting over air time and monopolizing the conversation. Makes it a very chaotic experience.

Really enjoy the standup work of both hosts - tried listening to several of the podcasts, but they didn’t click for me. I’ve tried to think about why, and I’m not sure, except for a bit of provincialism showing up now and then. Sorry, I really wanted to love it.

I remember the days when podcasts had a theme (true crime, celebrity gossip, history, etc.), but this is just people having randomly conversations. I love Matteo’s comedy, but I just feel like I’m an outsider listening to a random conversation with no prior knowledge, no getting the inside jokes, and it’s incessant. Even the shtick goes on WAY too long. 20 minutes of talking like British orphans, seriously? The joke died 3 minutes in and somehow they segwayed to that from Home Alone 2. Find some rhyme or reason to the show.

I was cracking up with Matteo, Evan Williams and Rosebud did a skit about an old woman posing as the last orphan at a soon-to-close British orphanage. Nobody at the gym knew why I was cracking up and I couldn’t possibly explain it. Just listen and enjoy!

Latest episode made me laugh out loud so hard I started crying.

The show used to be great when they first got started because they would let us in their personal life and that was the format of the show. They then stopped sharing much from their personal life (especially Matteo) and now it’s boring conversations about nothing. They will literally talk about the best type of peanut butter for 15 minutes. Before we got to know about the passionate beginnings of Matteo’s relationship with Kiko and Emma’s interesting dynamic with the Canadian. I don’t blame them for this change but they need to come up with a different format for their podcast to be interesting again. Like pick a topic and talk about that or have guests every week. Regardless, I still listen most weeks but I miss how it used to be.

I am laughing out loud to Matteo and Emma’s very heated peanut butter discussion. F**k Peter Pan peanut butter. This is probably my new favorite episode.

Not only is the The Wedding Coach on Netflix amazing, Mateo was so darling on the episode!! I’ve watched the first season about ten times! It’s light, cheerful and kind!! Jamie does such a great job with her couples and helping them navigate through the drama! The one with Mateo was truly my favorite!!

I discovered this Podcast last week and I have been listening to old episodes since then. I love the chemistry between Emma and Matteo. Furthermore, I appreciate Matteo’s honest, witty and “Italian” take on topics. He is soooooo funny!

Most recent episode was really upsetting. I stopped listening when I realized the convo was just not stopping. Shocked by this.

Emma eating someone to fulfill her partner’s fetish is what I could ever wish as anyone’s perfect mate. Hands down funniest gross territory humor. My god it was both so gross and funny that I was compelled to 5 star. Well deserved a 6th star for the giggling 3rd person in the background because this was so hilarious.

I have been listening to inside the closet from the being! While I love every episode 1/14/21 was my by far favorite!!!! I laughed so hard I cried, it is a must listen.

I always have a great time listening to this podcast, but the January 14 2021 episode includes a story from comedian Yamaneika Saunders, whose NYC vet sends her, unprompted, multiple pictures of the progress of her cat’s oral surgery. There is a moment in almost every episode when I can’t help laughing. In this episode, it’s when Yamaneika shares her thought that the vet’s office does this to placate cat moms who are gentrifying her neighborhood. Matteo and Emma always bring out the funny in their guests, and honestly, Yamaneika could read the phone book and I’d tune in.

Matteo and Emma are hilarious and tell stories about their great firsthand stories about their experiences as queer comics. Would highly recommend, especially Emma’s stories about all the funny snafus she seems to find herself in!

These two are hilarious and absolutely ridiculous. I am in tears every week. Emma somehow finds a way to always outdo herself with ridiculous stories. Love love love

I love this podcast so much. Emma and Matteo are so fun to listen to.

The pod is declining. There’s no format, no consistency. It’s not “alt” it’s just disorganized. Also, why does Emma not know so many things? Ex: “why doesn’t everybody just use absentee ballots...?” And then not even taking the time to explain for the listeners... just leaving it unexplained and confusing when it would have taken 30 seconds. Is listenership steady?

I love this podcast sm I just wish they would avoid talking over each other. I wanna hear what Matteo has to say, but amazing podcast. One of my favs, keep going ya gems ❤️

The hosts aren’t compatible at all and just goes to show maybe not everyone needs to have a podcast.
