Season 2 episode 2
Listening to James prepare a speech for the high school students while he was on the inside…that’s powerful. Most people in that situation would be focused on themselves. But he’s thinking about the young people and the decisions they’re about to make. That says a lot about a man. The part of choosing the right friends really stood out to me. I’ve seen it in my own life. Who you run with will either sharpen you or sink you!

This guy is fascinating
I listened to his interview on Matt Cox YouTube channel and wow, what an experience. I’m glad he was able to free himself from the situation and no longer has this hanging over his head like the sword of Damocles.
Glad to know he has a podcast, going to catch up with his episodes! He has a TikTok too, if that’s even legitimately his…I followed but did notice that the comments are tuned off so it’s not easy to verify.

Senior awesome app
Greed..
Episode 16…
I don’t know… I think this guy got off too easily…
Obviously the fact the judge sentenced him some time is because she thought he was guilty and in fact did play a role with all this Resort development fiasco… I feel terrible for all the people that lost their funds, and possibly a lot more!!
Seems like greed, and fortune got the best of him.. at the expense of others. And his poor family..

Storytelling
This is one of the best story tellers on a podcast. He takes you right into the situation that he is telling about. So much detail. How to survive the worst times of your life with an attitude that you have complete control over and how to achieve it for yourself. Keep the episodes coming.
A Real Talent
This podcast is great
I love this podcast
Johns's the great
thief in disguise
ok so… he lost a lot of money, went to prison, and the victims lost huge monetary investments.. but this guy lives a lavish lifestyle? with a overly expensive car and a penthouse? hmm… wonder HOW he's hiding money ? victims money! can’t be trusted!!
Huge ego and manipulative
Unattractive
I don’t like this guy.. he looks like the player type.. what’s up with his eyebrows?!!! Any more Botox?!! Are you even a male? I’m confused by looking at you.. no thank you!!!

James catledge is a “cheat”
James was “supposedly “ helping my dad prepare for prison and told my dad how he would guide him all the way..the minute I went to prison, James set his sights on my incredibly vulnerable mother and he took advantage of her friendship while my dad was in prison helpless to defend himself or their marriage. The end result is James used my mother for his own pleasure and led her into a worse situation than before. My parents are now divorced and us kids are left to pick up the pieces of James’s betrayal, dishonesty, and LIES. This podcast is full of deception . James betrayed my parents both, and WILL betray your family like he did mine..

Too arrogant!
The guy is a great speaker but for claiming he is a Christian he sounds very arrogant. From other reviews I have read about him, he seems like he goes searching for women to see which one he can seduce. I don’t believe 75% of his stories. He talks about Millions and Millions of Dollars like he is the Next Trump. I would have given him 3 stars if he would have been more humble with his words!!

Fraudster
Very dishonest and disappointing podcast.

“ FRAUD”
I was a very loyal friend to James. Genuinely supportive and caring of him and I believed in him, and his story.. until he fooled me! And continues to fool others with his charming personality and convincing intent for care and concern.. I was completely blindsided by him. I was lied to , deceived and taken advantage of. He knows what he did. He knows what he’s done. I was just another victim added to his list.. I’m appalled and disgusted and disappointed I let this so called “ friendship “ continue for as long as it did. He’s NOT who he claims to be. And will continue to deceive many more same way I was. Don’t be fooled !!!
Btw: I’m confused.. you state on your season 1 episodes you’re a family man, or you were.. you have 6 children… surely you didn’t forget your oldest daughter did you? So 7 kids.. ?
Did you really serve an LDS mission? Or was that also a lie? Hmm..

Awesome podcast
This podcast was thoroughly entertaining and I binged listened to all the episodes in one night. I could not put it down. I think everyone from all walks of life should take time to listen to Mr. Catledge ***’s experiences in a federal prison. Some things are sad, some things are happy, some things you will laugh your head off.

Man in the Arena
So much more than an entertaining podcast. Riveting stories told from the mouth of he who lived them. Heartbreaking at times, but the lessons shared and the wisdom learned make this podcast worth every second! You feel the raw emotion throughout. I don’t think anyone can truly understand what it is like to feel this weight unless you’ve had to carry it for yourself and family! Inspiring to hear and genuine to the core. Well done and well said! Thank you for sharing!!

Filled with so many great lessons
I’m a husband, father, business leader, friend, all of which I’m trying to be the best possible person I can be in each of those roles. James shares these same roles. His experiences and his wisdom are so insightful and thought provoking. You won’t come away from listening to each podcast without being moved. The experiences in his life, with his family, in the business world, as a leader, lessons he’s learned in his legal battles and time he had to serve are shared with wanting to help you overcome challenges and fears and become better tomorrow than what you were today. Thanks James.

This man's story doesn't add up… there is a lot of inconsistencies. Why were there women in his hotel room? How did they know how to find him???? He doesn't seem like the good christian man he implies to be… very questionable.

I’m skeptical
I used to work for James’ organization that was involved in this legal mess. He was an incredible leader, well-spoken, and very motivational. With that said, I fully believe he is not innocent like he claims and had a part to play in all of this, in which the court agreed. I’m sure he won’t mention he was part of previous failed real estate deal where many clients lost money. There are other red flags that I won’t mention here. Myself as well as my family and clients lost significant amounts of money based on his misrepresentations. It was and still causes a lot of pain not only financially, but in our relationships together, as I still know a lot of the victims. I was young and impressionable, so I believed and followed his guidance, but of course am kicking myself for that now. While I think this podcast is well done, I think James got off easy and hopefully doesn’t take for granted how lucky he is. I view him as the next Jordan Belfort, who has no real empathy and is worried only about himself. He’s a smart guy and I’m sure he’ll be back with some new scheme (hopefully I’m wrong). I’ll end this by saying that while I gave this 2 stars for the review due to it being pretty interesting, I also learned a ton from James that has actually served me very well in life. That’s the saddest part for me. His mission for his financial services company was noble and was worth fighting for, but his business dealings and greed ruined all of it. If he puts his time/money where his mouth is and helps make the victims whole again, then maybe I’ll change my mind.

Riveting, honest and totally Transparent
A great friend in James Catledge and his honest and sincere take on his life and how being involved with dishonest people caused him to be indicted and spend time in prison. You all have to hear it to believe it. It’s a blow by blow on prison life that very few people understand.

Thanks
The weight of this is unimaginable. I am amazed by your strength and I never once have seen you have a victim mentality. Amazing. Truth may be the first victim but your character never was. Thanks for the great life insights.

Informative and Inspirational!
This is such a captivating and intriguing story for me. I happen to know James personally and remember the after effects of all of this. I have always known James to be a man of very high integrity and character and hearing this story really emphasizes what I’ve always known about him and really brings it to new depths. I’ve enjoyed diving into the details of it and feel inspired by how the situation has been handled thus far. I look forward to each new episode with anticipation.

The real story finally told
I’m an attorney in San Diego and I have know James for many years. I watched the majority of this story unfold in real time and hearing it again, told by James himself, is absolutely surreal. This is the real deal of the entire true story and an absolute must listen.
