Conan is great but I can listen to Mike & Jessie talk about anything! Team Coco - just give them a regular week show about whatever! Glad to see its back!

Flula is a riot

I mostly enjoy the reminiscing about fun Conan moments, but one thing continues to irritate me and that is Jessie constantly interrupting the guests. Stop stepping on them as they’re in the middle of a sentence or a story. Let your guest speak. It’s the reason you have them on! You have the whole beginning of the show to talk without a guest usually, but cutting them off is rude and frustrating to listen to. You don’t need to blurt out every thought as it rattles in your head, regardless of who’s already talking!

Why are these two menschs being hidden away? Last season was a blip. Jessie and Mike are the ballz. Funny, super nice, yet wary and ridiculously wry, ok that’s Mike. Jessie’s laugh could defeat Satan, that’s how full of light it is. But it’s just a dearth of new episodes lately. During these times of “The Sparseness”, I may have to resort to AI Mike and Jessie, to get my MiJe fix. Idea! The pandemic era home episodes were super swell and fun. MiJe was relaxed, and likely pants-less. Was a great vibe. Plz consider WFH ‘filler episodes’ to fill out the year, creating a never ending story of Jessie and Mike! <3

The Deon Cole Ep was so Funny!!

I’m sure the hosts are nice people, but I find them to be phony and arrogant. I feel sorry for the guests who get stuck with them. I can listen to Conan, Andy, Sohna, and Matt talk for hours on any topic or no topic at all.

I love this show! The newest season about Outside Conan is really great! Jessie and Mike are so easy to listen to and both have fantastic podcast voices.

The premise of the podcast is great but Jessie and mike (especially Jessie) keep interrupting their guests. The convo is basically them jumping in with their own thoughts and reactions which totally throws off the flow of the convo and defeats the purpose of the guest sharing their behind-the-scenes scoops. They are talented writers and learning how to be podcast hosts but they need to be more comfortable with silence , letting the guest think and speak, and not speaking out of the need to fill the space . Let them explain the story or remote, etc without doing it yourself. The podcast could really improve by the hosts improving on their moderating skills . To me, this podcast is not enjoyable to listen to.

So pleased that Jessie and Mike are back! I love knowing that whoever listens to this podcast simply has to be a cool, funny, intelligent, probably nostalgic, and definitely a silly loving kook and so I am happy to be one of the gang. I found this show while searching for some fun, Steven Wright info. What a great show! I love both of these hosts, but I may be a little bit biased. I feel like comedians are just the smartest people out there so they continue to get to the heart of what’s fun and entertaining. Can’t wait for more from these two.

Love Jessie and Mike's energy. Interesting guests and stories connected to one of my all time favorite shows. When Conan visits, I always think it would be fun to listen to a Conan writers room podcast where in the end a finished piece is presented. Always love watching the monologue and skits Conan, Andy and Team Coco come up with. No one makes me laugh more!

I’ve always been somewhat of a TV and radio nerd in that I love to hear how things came together to create the final product so this is totally in my wheelhouse. Jesse and Michael do a fantastic job of finding people with interesting anecdotes and memories about one of my favorite set of TV shows. I especially enjoy it when the guest reminds one or both of them about a story they had forgotten about. Looking forward to more episodes.

This is a great show, for fans of Conan and otherwise. I’ve become a big fan of hosts Mike and Jessie. They are of course funny and insightful about show business and the Conan universe, but they are also good interviewers. Most important, I have enjoyed getting to know them a bit. Listening to the podcast feels a bit like being part of the conversation, so give it a whirl. There, Mike and Jessie—I’ve rated and reviewed. Happy?

This last season was excellent. No reason to change anything. Come back when y’all can have Conan on to lead off AND close the season as last guest. So many more people and sketched to talk about. Especially the coronavirus sketch. Filmed in March 2020 I believe I would like to know everything. Love the show! Also any idea when the TBS episodes will be on Conan’s late night site? Thanks!

Hearing the origin of the Conan show was amazing! From Lorne seemingly choosing him and Jeff Ross out of thin air to Shandling passing and all the other kismet moments in between and beyond. Teasing us with the Late Night story is beyond thrilling! Let’s hear him tell more!!!!

I look forward to this show every week. The most recent episode with Conan and Jeff Ross was hilarious. Jessie’s line about the car payments for the ‘92 Taurus at &12/mo was laugh out loud funny!!! I look forward to the next season.

Please let there be a next season! The episode with Jeff Ross (Jeff Ross!) and Conan was so enlightening and seems to have only scratched the surface of launching this juggernaut! It’s so much fun to hear how bits began, how then-unknown personalities got their start (interns, UCB) and how the writers often threw everything at the wall to see what MIGHT stick, then maybe give up and revert to a fan-favorite based on how close the talent lived to the studio. Makes me wish I’d stayed up late more often! I always enjoyed the show(s) when I watched, but missed so much. Thank goodness for the internet! To this day, I still randomly break out into song: “In the year two thousannnnnnd”!

Mike and Jesse are a delight, listening to them feels like sitting down with two old friends to just shoot the breeze, comfortable and fun. Also their guests are amazing and their interviews insightful. This podcast is a true gem and I am greatly saddened that it seems like it may be wrapping up.

Mike and Jessie are great hosts! I love hearing the origin stories and behind the scenes treats. They are hilarious and very entertaining, like how so many people got on there by luck plus hard work and now they are household names. I loved hearing from the people who booked the guests and musical acts. Such a different world.

Love the podcast. Listened to it twice, and rewatched the classic Triumph segment as he lovingly roasted Star Wars fans.

Not that you get a lot of that info, but it’s good for a Conan obsessive like me to hear little tidbits here and there and know it’s still coming!

When Mike and Jessie requested listener questions for Robert Smigel’s appearance on the 100th episode, I submitted the dumbest, most esoteric question I could think of: what was Clutch Cargo Schwarzenegger’s wandering tooth-gap made of? They asked him. He didn’t answer. But they asked him! What a great podcast.

This podcast has such a great insight to the inner workings of Conan and comedy writing. If I don’t know one of the guests I’ll still listen because that has definitely helped me fall in love with new writers and comedians. I really appreciate how intricate and important ‘behind the scenes’ work truly is. In another life, I would love to be a comedy/sketch writer, but this is a great substitute!
