This podcast has become one of my weekly favorites. My teenagers love to listen with me also. Highly recommend! Episode on depression was so inspiring

I preferred the earlier narrated format—it was concise and engaging. I’d love to hear more episodes in that style. The newer interview-style episodes feel longer and less interesting.

I love this podcast and generally like the guest that Dr. Eagleman interviews. The conversations are informative and typically well balanced between more dense jargon and everyday language. However the February 2026 episode with Eric Weinstein was so hard to listen to because Weinstein seems so pretentious, condescending, and out of touch with what it means to be a “good person”. His perspective on Jim Watson suggests that he looks up to Watson even though Watson is a terrible human. Weinstein says that he was onboard with Watson being professionally reprimanded for his behavior and actions, but then has a completely skewed perception of how bad Watson actually was. Weinstein seems to be the same type of narcissist as Watson but with a bit better training on what to say to seem more human. Weinstein says that Watson was a kind person because Watson complemented Weinstein on his daughter’s intelligence after first very cruelly dismissing her when she asked Watson a question. That is not a good person and Weinstein’s fawning for Watson is distasteful at best.

Today there was an ad from an Epstein file friend and a brilliant man talking about corona and the lies we were told.

Just listened to the Sam Harris interview and found it almost impossible to listen to due to the horrendous music playing in the background. Why, oh why, would anyone feel the need to ruin a perfectly good podcast by playing bad music over the guest’s voice?

This used to be a podcast I really enjoyed. It used to be about neuroscience. Now it’s just “AI is so great and it does all these cool things”. If I wanted to listen to a podcast about AI I would.

Eagleman has a Rolls Royce of a brain, and us poor mortals have to run around in a bicycle. His podcasts give us some hope and understanding. Thank you.

Interesting topics, distracting background “mood acoustics”? Like the yoga studio noises from electric cars, takes away from the conversation for me.

Understanding how our “inner cosmos” is constructed by our brains allows us to empathize with our situation and potentially transcend it. There’s a lot we cannot change, but we have more agency that we think we do. This podcast is taking that first step to making our own giant leaps toward a curated and wonderful existence.

I’ll bet many of your listeners would be ecstatic to see you and Richard Schwartz collaborate on a podcast!!

David is truly a master of his craft. His podcast is a an exceptional wellspring of knowledge, insights and information. Incredibly inspiring and wonderfully thought provoking for all ages, cannot recommend enough!

Jordan Peterson, really? Kind of shocked you would have a climate-denying “What is climate?”, right-wing nationalist catering, pseudo-science dabbling, doctor who seems obsessed with “dominance” to speak on scientific truths…hard to reconcile with what until now has been a solid source of information and wonder…now not so sure

Not only is this show interesting, but the content is helpful in promoting more understanding between opposing parties. David Eagleman is using his platform to help heal the rifts in our country and I applaud him.

Very informative For the people always complaining with stuff like volume, slowness, and commercials, you can turn down the volume, speed up the audio, and skip through the commercials.

Dr. Eagleman’s lectures are a must for anyone with a brain, (Ha Ha)!

Should me mandatory listening for every high school kid. Great philosophy and debate on truth and WHY It’s so tough to nail down. I think I love David Eagleman, and the way he teaches because he forces you to think and look at a problem from so many great facets and directions. But again, maybe that’s just my perspective from a like-thinking, science based, simple answers for complex question is bad advice kind of guy. Haha. Great work man! Keep making humans think. It’s worthwhile.

I regularly say to myself after episodes, “Wow, that was so good!” Dr. Eagleman shares complex information and research in an accessible way. Everything about it is five stars from the topics covered to the sound quality. It’s a must listen!

My hope is the sense of openness, awe and willingness to discover more shared in this presentation will inspire those who are trapped in the illusions of security through blinders to ask questions again. I had my doubts about this series…so pleased I remained. Many thanks.

There’s seldom that I come across a podcast that seems genuinely in love with science and the human experience. I’m always chasing a Carl Sagan type personality. Dr Eagleman is definitely that kind guy.

Listen to any episode. Dr. Eagleman is a genius for new material in the sci-fi movie industry. He’s a phenomenal writer and the energy in which this podcast is related is nothing but star-spangled! I was a little worried I was being “culted” at first bc he’s so passionate but after a thorough Goog I have determined him to be of sane mind and great ideas. Carry on, friend! 🫡

David Eagleman is a breath of fresh air & exactly what we need today-at this precise moment in time. Why are we politically and racially so divided when we know we can treat each other in a more humane way? This podcast is a start down a path of enlightened co-habitation. Thank-you David, maybe if we understand why we can do better.

More people need to be listening. The pod creator does a good job explaining complicated concepts pertaining to the mind. Highly recommended for anybody with a thirst for knowledge!

Fantastic show and your explanations are great, dumbed down but not too dumbed down. I know your excited by what you do but might want to tone it down a little for people wearing ear buds.. keep it going

Fascinating well-researched topics are covered but Dr Eagleman’s over-dramatic speaking style ruins it for me. A lot of things are over-explained; it sometimes feels “dumbed down” Worth a try but not for me

The episodes are fascinating and the way they’re told through storytelling rather than a ton of data and/or science jargon make them really easy to follow without sacrificing the educational aspect. The titles of some episodes are a little strange until you listen to the episode for the contest. You may be better off reading the episode descriptions if you’re looking to know the subject matter before listening to an episode.

Just discovered this podcast and I love it! David is engaging and entertaining while explaining complicated things. So well done!
