On this episode of Infertili"Me" I speak with Taylor Edwards. Just shy of celebrating her 30th birthday, Taylor has been through the ringer with trying to conceive. Finding out at the age of 12 that she had PCOS was just the beginning of her journey with trying to get pregnant. Taylor has gone through a surgery, multiple IUIs, an egg retrieval, and is on her second frozen embryo transfer. She is vulnerable and shares what it is like to be in the middle of your fertility journey. The ups and downs, and how we should approach others who are dealing with infertility. This is a great listen for those who have been through infertility themselves, or for those who wish to have a better understanding of what their family and friends may be dealing with behind closed doors.

In this weeks episode, I speak to Virginia Cinzano. Virginia is a PA from Alexandria, Virginia and she has had quite the journey through to motherhood. After a miscarriage, and 4 medicated IUIs, Virginia and her husband went down the path of IVF. After a relatively uneventful pregnancy, during delivery, things drastically changed. Virginia's story is one that is unfortunately full of birth trauma. If you have experienced a birth trauma and it still feels fresh, this may not be the right story for you at this time, but, I encourage you to listen. It is nonetheless a story of perseverance and strength.

In this weeks episode, I chat with Jennifer Senecal Le Corre. She is from Montreal, Canada and is in a same sex marriage with her wife Daisy and is mother to a 4 year old named Cameron. Jennifer shares the story of her coming out, meeting her wife, their decision to start a family, and what that looks like for same sex couples in Quebec, Canada. She shares information on open ID donors vs closed ID donors, miscarriage, medicated and non-medicated cycles of IUI, and more. This is part 2 of our conversation, so, if you have not listened to part 1, I highly suggest you go back and listen!
My random recommendation for this episode is the podcast Fantasy Awash with Laura and Josh
