Building a world and story can be affected by so many things, including the writer's mood or life experiences at the time. Often these things can distract from the story the author is trying to tell. For me, I not sure what it was that got me so off track from my original plot, but it has me doing some serious backtracking. The way we define success is very personal. I considered myself a failure because I didn’t complete my big goals last year. The truth of the matter: I did meet several goals they were just small ones.
