In this last episode of season one, three dear sisters-in-christ shared about their word of the year - surrender, acceptance and humility. In surrendering and giving our “fiat”, we are giving God that space to do His work within us. For I know the plans I have for you, they are plans for good, to give you a future and a hope. Also in acceptance, we learn to embrace ourselves; who God made us to be, and who we are in the Lord’s heart. In humility, to empty oneself and let the Love of the Lord take over; more of Him and less of me. Dear brothers and sisters, how has your year been? Where was God in all of it? We invite you to look back together with us on the year and to praise God for being there all the way - through the highs and lows.
We’ll see you in the early half of 2021 for S2 of In The Dwelling. Till then, have a blessed end to 2020 and let us welcome 2021 with open arms because it is filled with endless possibilities, adventures, growth and more!

Merry Christmas everyone, come let us adore Him. In this episode, we share about our encounter building a nativity scene and adoring the Lord at the Blessed Sacrament. God came not to be served but to serve. As His sons and daughters, made in His image and likeness, we are also called to a heart of service and love as well.
“The gift of salvation is truly the most excellent work of God’s love. It is an even greater work than the creation of Heaven and earth.” In this salvation, there is an invitation to be in communion with Him; abiding and dwelling in His love, and to be vessels of His love to others. “Christ has no body now but you.” We are making Him known through our words and deeds. Let us prepare for the feast of the incarnation of Jesus Christ this Christmas.

Blessed Advent Brothers and Sisters! In this episode, we share about how true joy is not based on one’s circumstances or feelings, but rather in simply doing and obeying God’s will. Mother Mary and St Joseph were joyful despite all the struggles they had to go through, while they were on the way to Bethlehem. In whatever they did, they had a great love for their son, Jesus. This Christmas, Jesus desires to be reborn in our hearts!! Advent comes from the Latin word which means ‘coming’. May we prepare our inner depositions this Advent to make space for the coming of our Saviour! O come, O come, Emmanuel. Make your way into our hearts today!

Today, the Lord invites us to rest and trust in Him as an act of Faith. We don't need to keep striving, but simply to abide in Him. He invites us to be unafraid to go out of the norms, to have courage and obedience in His plans for us. To put our hope in Him, for He knows what is best. His goodness constantly seeks to purify our i-centred desires to Christ-centred desires, and grows us to be more in the image and likeness of Him.
So dear brothers and sisters, stop midway, pause, and recognise what the Lord is inviting you to in this season of your life? P.S. Snippets of sleeping St. Joseph and the litany of trust is in this episode. <3, [email protected]

Feeling distant from God? Or wondered about a higher being up there?
In today’s episode, we share more about the presence of the Queen of Heaven (aka Mother Mary) in bringing us closer to the heart of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are on your faith journey, you can always count on our Blessed Mother to always guide you back to her Son, Jesus Christ.
Both of us did a Marian devotion one year ago - 33days to Morning Glory by Michael Gaitley, where Mother Mary revealed the love of God for us. She calmed us down in our worries, giving us the motherly protection and assurance. She also taught us to forgive those who have hurt us. Indeed our blessed mother makes our bitter sufferings sweet, light and bearable. May we continue to ask our Blessed Mother for her holy intercession for all our petitions. It’s like asking a great friend to help pray with us. May she continue to be that star that leads us to Jesus Christ. Amen.

Oftentimes, we are commented on what we wear, how we look, and how useful we are. However, John Paull II reminds us that we have a God-given dignity. We are unique, unrepeatable, someone thought of and chosen from eternity, someone called and identified by name. We have an intrinsic worth and it has nothing to do with our sex, age, health, appearance, education, social status, employment, or even the choices we make. So, today, let us embrace and arise in our identity as His chosen beloved children.

We are celebrating the feast day of St Thérèse of Lisieux! Both of us have read ‘The Story of a Soul’ written by this saint! In this book, she reminded us that each of us is unique and special. The splendour of the rose and lily’s whiteness do not deprive the violet of its scent nor make less ravishing the daisy’s charm!
St Thérèse encouraged us on our vocation to love by telling us to miss no opportunity of making a small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love. Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.
O little flower, please pick us a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to us with a message of love. Ask God to grant us the favours we implore and tell Him that we love Him each day more and more. Amen.
Had an encounter with St Thérèse? Share with us more at [email protected]. Meanwhile, we’re sending a virtual rose to you!

We are so excited to share with you all a new podcast series born out of two sisters in christ. A podcast where we can simply dwell in the presence of God, and find encouragement and rest.
In Psalm 71:20 - ‘You have made me see troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.’ May we always be assured that God is with us and may we pray for the courage to swim against the currents of life. Mark 10:49 - ‘Take courage. Get up. Jesus is calling you.’
As we end today’s episode, we invite you to pray the prayer of serenity with us - Dear God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
Do drop us an email if you have any prayer requests or topics you would like us to talk about at [email protected]. Till then, God bless!
