On today's episode we continue on our topic of boundaries and talk about how our words hold power. Self-control is a fruit of the spirit and only we have the ability to ask God for that gift so that our words can be helpful and not harmful. Our words shape our thoughts, behaviors, and have influence over those around us.

Today we are continuing our topic on boundaries. Last week we discussed boundaries as they relate to time and today we are discussing when to set boundaries in relationships. I am NOT an expert and work continuously myself to implement healthy boundaries in my life. Knowing the boundaries are biblical and the parameters for which to set boundaries are in God's word should be a comfort to us!

Today we embark on the topic of boundaries! This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart as it is one that I have worked so hard on. Today we will talk about the boundary of time and how people pleasing can rob us from setting boundaries. I discuss the book The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst (you can find it on Amazon here!) and how the lessons from that book took a hold of my soul. If there are boundary topics you would like to hear more of please send your suggestions to [email protected].

Two days ago our country was hit by tragedy with the school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas where 19 children and two adults where killed by a mass shooter. This is the biggest school shooting since the shooting at Sandy Hook which occurred a little over ten years ago. During times like this it is hard to have hope and remain faithful but it is times such as these where we need Jesus more than ever.

We are carrying around a weight that is not ours to carry! As Christians we gave up this weight the moment that we accepted Christ as our savior. That doesn't mean that we always adhere to that or walk in His grace all the time. Thankfully He has enough grace for each of our days.

We are always so worried about time. Is now the right time to start a new journey? Will I have time later to pursue it? There is always time to learn friends but there is no time to worry.
