Season 1, Episode 5: PROTECT BLACK WOMEN. In 1962, Malcolm X said, “The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black woman.” Unfortunately, this still rings true today. In light of the recent developments in the Breonna Taylor case and the popularization of the phrase "protect Black women,"  we wanted to dissect its true implications. This episode is the start of a larger conversation and we hope you, our Community, continue to discuss issues, unlearn behaviors, and perpetuate the safety of Black women in every space they occupy.
