In case you’re a little skeptical about buying a #sherry for the show, here are some reasons why you absolutely should:
1) the bottles are often sold as 375ml bottles so it’s a very tiny 🤏🏼 investment for a new experience.
2) it’s a deeply historical beverage and one of the few alcoholic beverages that aristocratic women throughout history were allowed to drink (girl power, yo! 💪🏼)
3) ✨Food! ✨Get some Marcona almonds, cured meats, and olives to hear this wine sing, and if none of that has convinced you, there is always....
4) the #sherrycobbler cocktail. A healthy dose of Sherry, sugar to taste, and 2-3 orange slices, plus a little aggressive shaking, some crushed ice and whatever fancy garnish you want.
We can’t wait to geek out about this wild and crazy wine. ✌🏼

Samur, Anjou, Chinon, Bourgueil, Sancerre, Vouvray, Savennières.... wasn’t this week’s IPT episode supposed to be about the Loire Valley???
As with many regions of France, Loire wines are labeled by their smaller growing appellations, like those listed 👆🏻above. This can make getting a Loire wine more difficult, so be sure to ask your friendly wine shop for assistance. Then tune in to learn how to navigate that French wine section!

New York is America’s fourth largest wine producing state and the Finger Lakes is it’s most well know AVA. The name Finger Lakes refers to the 11 deep narrow lakes, that were formed by ancient glaciers.
The Finger Lakes is often compared to Germany due to the extreme cold weather and temperature regulation from nearby bodies of water. No wonder Riesling is king in the Finger Lakes like this one from @hermannjwiemer that @britt.it.and.quit.it will be drinking on tonight’s episode.

Featured Guest: Chris Walsh, End of Nowhere
This week on IPT we’re chatting about one of our favorite best friend getaways for wine, nature, and all out summer dance parties in the street (pre-Covid and hopefully again soon🤞🏻):
✨Amador County! ✨
To help us learn about the ins and outs of this tiny wine treasure, we have one of Amador County’s only natural winemakers, @end_of_nowhere joining us on the show.
•
There are lots of ways to find Amador wines to drink but we’ve put together a list of places to find End of Nowhere wines near our CA friends ➡️➡️. Grab a bottle and tune in and learn about this charming wine region. We can’t wait!🥂
