“I’ve had this eternal feeling of loneliness, and when I talk to people about it I have to explain, No, I’m not talking about not settling down in this life time, I’m talking about eternal! I’m not worried about this life, I’m worried about after this life.”

Welcome everyone to this episode of In My Truth!
I have my friend Sam Kabert on with me today and I’m very excited to dive in to what he is currently wrangling with.
Sam and I were introduced through a mutual friend and client of mine in Grow My Team. We’ve been trying to connect for a while and over a few different continents, but we’re finally sitting down today to dive in to this episode of In My Truth.
Sam Kabert has a personal brand SwagSam and has been heavily in the content game: he’s had nine podcasts over the last three years, written three books in a year and created a few Youtube shows. He’s been grinding, and despite making it into the 40 Under 40 list, he had a depression that culminated in a breakup with his twin flame.
Since then, Sam has spiralled into spirituality through ayahuasca ceremony and is now working on what he calls ‘soul life balance’ to create a new normal.
There’s a lot of ground to cover, so let’s dive in.

Join your host Sarah Riegelhuth as she’s joined by Sam Kabert in this episode of In My Truth, as they dive into twin flame love and what happens when you lose it.
-
“I feel like with this breakup, I was dealing with every breakup I’d ever had.”
Listen in to the In My Truth podcast as Sarah Riegelhuth and Sam Kabert get deep into the stories around past relationships, finding gratitude and the many different kinds of therapy, from past life regression ceremonies to plant medicine.
-
“It was October 2016 when I said I really wanted to love myself because I realised that I didn’t, and it’s three and a bit years later and I can say I don’t 100 percent love myself, yet. I think I’m pretty close, I keep having these times where I think I’m here and then I find myself in self-loathing again. It’s such a journey. I had no idea what a journey I would be embarking on.”
-
Like many of us, Sarah and Sam are still dealing with the loss of significant romantic relationships. The healing journey is long and has many ups and downs.
Have you lost a twin flame? What does the healing journey look like for you?
Sam and Sarah also get vulnerable with the stories they’re living with around:
- break ups
- how breakups can bring out what we need to heal
- starting to date again
- ayahuasca ceremonies
- gratitude for the opportunity to learn
- acceptance
- loneliness
- attracting conscious people into our lives
- old behavioural patterns coming up
- opening up our vulnerabilities with our partners
- Akashic records ceremony
- past life regression
- how our childhood wounds manifest in our adult lives
- alcohol-fuelled shadow behaviour
- our online presence and hiding relationships from the internet
- loving ourselves
- trusting the process of the universe
- conscious fear
- letting go
- making friends with darkness
- depression
- curiosity and not knowing
-
“Some days I’m loving myself and I’m on fire, it’s like a tall peak. And the next day I am in the biggest pit and I wasted all of that positive energy. But I love those highs. People are like, Oh you just need to find the happy medium, and I’m like, No, those highs are great! I don’t want to give up that high! Can I just not be in that pit after the high? And that’s where I’m trying to find the balance with self love.”

“I like to think that now I have a nice happy medium of being able to tap into the soulful and mindful, and to also live this fun life of not knowing. I feel curious on a daily basis.”
