Season 3 - Journey to Wholeness Episode 13  Ioana tells about the realities of loosing her spouse so early at 29 years old and the effects it has on the type of parenting a grieving parent can be, which sadly is a flawed one and not necessarily the best version of ourselves.  Ioana tells us about her journey to discover what being a happy single mom looks like.  We talk about finding some silver linings in widowhood and facing the reality becoming single again. Moving from ‘why’ mentality to ‘now what’ and making a new reality or a version of life that we like. Season 3 - Journey to Wholeness Episode 12 In this episode we speak to Tasha a podcaster, hair and makeup artist and trauma survivor. Tasha shares part of her journey to wholeness as we share on conflicts in relationships, growing and learning to let go.  We explore the effort it takes to do the healing work to walk towards wholeness. We question where we draw the line with toxic family members? Tasha also discuss how familial relationship can cause short term and long term harm, from rejection, abandonment and muting.  We share the importance of providing safe spaces to talk as children and the healthy adults that practice can produce. We touch on the emotions that death brings such as sadness, anger and how she lost her faith. Season 3 - Young Black and Widowed with Azurae Johnson Redmond.  Azurae joins us from all the way from Tennessee to talk about her experience of suddenly becoming young and widowed by lung cancer. In this episode Azure shares her story of how she started her journey of widowhood with a toddler on her hip whilst being 5 month pregnant. Three years later, Azure used her pain to birth purpose by starting the ‘Young Black and Widowed Inc’ not for profit in her late husbands memory. The key themes we discuss  - the stigma of being a single black mom, moving forward where there is no longer a road map and embracing those special memories. Season 3 - Birthing with Ify Bamigboye. In this episode we discuss ‘birthing’ not necessarily in the maternal sense but giving birth to hope, healing, ideas, change and ministries. Ify shares how her journey to wholeness came about by telling us of the challenges she faced in her marriage and adjusting to life in the UK after living a very comfortable life as an expat in Singapore.
