Comic Gold
This party is just that, it’s a party! They have a blast while playing and you are taken right along with them. Whether it’s the inside jokes or the almost constant puns, they do not let up on the comedy gas throughout the entire series.

Exciting, smart and often hilarious
Really fun storylines, epic battles and funny. Found this podcast a bit randomly and binge listened over the last couple of weeks. Excited to see where our heroes take us next! Love the DMs voice acting!

Would recommend
Very enjoyable DnD podcast. Hijinks and hilarity ensue, but not so much as to overwhelm a pretty compelling story.

Hilarious long form storytelling
I’m about 10 episodes deep and it just keeps getting funnier. It evokes both campaign and comedy envy in me!
It’s not important that you know the mechanics of D&D. It’s the characters themselves that make this compelling and entertaining listening!

Fun. - need I say more..
An entertaining hour. It feels like a great time with friends. Why not listen? Download a few episodes on your next flight/metro ride/drive and give it a shot. Time well invested.

These five stars are dedicated to Olash so she can finally work up the courage to hook up with K’Thok. Get it, girl!

A fun and breezy D&D live play podcast!
This is a great live play podcast, especially if you want something different from the 3-4 blocks of content that many podcasts in this vein put up.
Episodes are usually about an hour long and are packed full of jokes, enthusiasm, and fun. The performers playing put on a good show and clearly enjoy what they’re doing.

Olash is my spirit animal
Dearest Olash, how do I find the words to describe how much adore thee? Your collection of arms not withstanding, your musical prowess is the envy of all who hear it. When will you return to me? When will I be allowed to look upon you once more? I hope soon. Or else I may perish. Return to me, my Barbarian goddess.
Also, loving the show. 5 stars!

Gets Old Quickly
Really enjoyed the first few episodes but couldn't stick with it. Might try again. A little too silly for my tastes. Definitely worth a shot though.

Listen to this, or the Halfling gets it!!!
If you like actual play podcasts, roleplaying games and comedy, this is the podcast for you.
So much talent and humor!!!
Shove this podcast in your ear holes! You won't regret it!

So much fun!
I’ve tried many live play D&D podcasts, and this is by far my favorite. The pace is the excellent, the cast is great at improvised dialogue. The DM is insanely well prepared and excellent at delivering the ancillary characters. The main cast is very funny and they play off of each other well. I laugh out loud and smile like an idiot quite frequently while listening. And now I realllllly want to play D&D for the first time.
One thing I will say is: sometimes the volume levels are off. For a while there Cassian and Yarfick were too quiet in comparison to the DM and the female characters. Now Yarfick has seemed to improve, but Cassian’s mic is still too quiet. Fine for when you are listening with headphones, but if you’re listening while driving, dialogue gets lost.
Keep it up!!!! You deserve all the 5-star ratings.

Awesome entertainment!
No, you don’t need to know D&D rules at all to enjoy this podcast! It’s quite entertaining without it!

Angrily Refreshing the App
I started listening to this Podcast a few months ago (around the release of episode 16). I was enthralled by this fantastic program immediately and caught up within a week. The humor is thoroughly enjoyable, the story is fantastic, and I love not only the characters but the players behind and expertly maintaining them. Every Wednesday morning I furiously refresh my Podcasts app to make sure I have the latest episode before I get to work. I was sad to miss the live show at Carnage but I am looking forward to the next live game. Shine on you crazy diamonds!

Funny and Fantastic
Solid podcast with some great VT comedians. What's better than nerds that can make you laugh?

Local, organic, and funny!!
I'm an (almost) life-long Vermonter who's never laughed so hard at something coming out of the Green Mountains as I have at Improvised Weapons. In addition to the acting, voice work, and comedic talent being top notch, there is a refreshing lack of sexist adventuring and commentary which is all too endemic of gaming. The abscence of it makes this enterainment that much more enjoyable. Here's too the talent!

On Wednesdays We Hit It & Crit It
I was invited to check this podcast out by one of the cast members - and I almost ignored it. I've never played D&D before, so I thought I'd be completely lost if I listened. Are there still things I don't understand? Yes. Does that make this any less enjoyable because of it? Absolutely NOT! The genuine joy that these players have shines through - they're all engaging, quick-witted, and not afraid to let pop culture references fly. Plus, added bonus here, not a single one has a voice that grates on my nerves (which would have instantly turned me away!) Glad I didn't ignore the invite to check this out - I'm hooked and can't wait to hear where the story goes!

Great actual play podcast!
Characters with depth, players with sharp senses of humor who build rapport with each other, a GM who rolls with the punches while keeping the action moving and characters engaged. Improvised Weapons is a great actual play podcast!

Awesome
Full disclosure, I may be a player on this podcast. That being said, if I WERE a player, I would have SUCH A BLAST playing DnD with these goobers. I feel almost like I'm in the room with them every episode as they laugh and adventure. As someone very inexperienced in DnD, they've succeeded in making this podcast is super accessible to those unfamiliar with the game!!!
I'd give it 5 stars if I could!

Adventure and Laughs Abound
Don't worry, this is not buried in the minutia of table top role playing. This is all about characters, the ones being played and the ones doing the playing. It's a great cast who are clearly having a ball and you'll come away with some new favorite phrases. Mine are "Not my tamborine arm!" and "HORSE PUNCH!"
Council of Geeks
A Great Listen!
There's nothing I love more than a DM who does character voices!

Characters Abound
Having never played Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, I was wary about a live play podcast as others I have listened to really need you to know the system before diving in. The cast is superb at bringing relatable and fun characters to the front and sweep you up in their adventure.
I want to #HitItAndCritIt every week with Improvised Weapons.
