Greater emphasis is placed on loyalty to this church and the leaders rather than following Jesus. Leadership (pastor and elders) seemed to believe they have full authority over church members lives and expect complete obedience. However, the example they set does not reflect Scripture. They shun those who leave and disparage those who stay. The leaders gossip about and slander former (and current) members, elders, deacons, and interns. Dishonesty is prevalent. Additionally, the church is intolerant of members seeking counseling or support outside of the church leadership.
